Where there's a blog, there's a rant. Hello, folks. For those who remember, I did used to be a manager here, but I've stepped down from that position due to the lack of time required to run a site. None the less, I'll keep popping in now and again to let you all know what I'm up to.
I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. The staff, including myself, poured in as much help as we could provide, and Scott made it happen. Mod DB is a constantly evolving community that has to meet new requirements as it grows. As such, many new features were implemented to fill them, including added tools and support for gaming consoles as well as PC.
Anyway, today's a short blog. There's no need for me to go on and I have a desperate need for sleep. Start here and experience the rest.
lol u never respond to my comments :( but anyways i figured out automations pretty much completely got the synth to go from blippy to crunch and got the drums to do that thing in yur song with fruity free filter :) so yeah... u find any good free synths or filters? i havn't found to many cept this vst effects pack that fruity loops probably comes with all of them cept i'm just to lazy to find out :D
ok well never mind i watched the tutorial at least six times before i realized that what you right click on is what got to the automation lol, i could just get pan at first =( oh well, yeah but i got it to work cool eh?
i swear its eating away at my soul
Ok so i started messing around with automations, and i can't seem to get them... It says in the FL Studio Automation tutorial "Native controls (FL interface and plugins) can be right-clicked to show a pop-up menu, select 'Create automation clip'." So I right click on my simsynth plugin, and there isn't a "create automation clip" option. Theres a "insert automation clip" and "Replace with automation clip". So I "insert automation clip" and my simsynth gets moved to the main automation channel. And then nothing happens... :flame: I draw the lines and stuff down below, but i'm not getting the blippy to crunchy sound i'm looking for. And i can't even figure out how to get envelopes and that crap...
help me out please :)
ok the one question i have been dying to know is how do you go from blippy to crunchy with synths? I can't figure it out apart from live mode
That's your opinion.
XD
