norKtre55 is correct, it is a Japanese word and the original top down RPGMaker game was created by a Japanese student.

Yeah, we will be going with Source now due to all the user votes. From what I have tried alredy Source 2013 Multiplayer and Singleplayer do not work whatsoever. I have been working with Visual Studio for the past day trying to fix it. If we cannot fix it I will be looking at the CryEngine due to it being on Steam and the visual improvements graphically and gameplay wise.

also don't you think creating a Valve based game on the Unity engine kind of breaks the logic of Half-Life? I mean Source is a lot easier to learn than Unity, just check out 3kliksphillip!

Due to the effort that we will be putting in to it and the size of the maps I believe it will be Early Access on Steam for $10. That is if we can get it onto steam. All up there will be around 3 to 4 16 Km2 maps. This is only our plan for now and nothing is final.

What? That's ridiculous... I thought you would have at least a 660Ti 2Gb. Just show's how much dedication to optimisation you guys have put into this game. I'd love to see the same amount of ships on my 680 4Gb haha.

Yes, that is one of the many reasons we have returned to the CryEngine. It helps provide the amazingly immersive environment especially with the stealth features we are planning to implement

Yes, sorry to reply so late but the HUD that is in and is going to be in all future videos for now is the CryEngine's default HUD. The HUD will be the last thing we work on for now as we'd like to get everything else done first.

What do you mean? We are not 100% sure if we will be moving over to the Unreal engine. If we do hopefully it will be free. I know the main game will be free and working with the Unreal Engine will make the puzzles easier to create compared to the Source engine.

Yes, the game is still going to be based on the original RPG Maker game Ao Oni. We had changed the name around 4 months ago aswell.

Hopefully, We are looking at putting this game on hold until we have the time to work on it. Due to our work times we rarely have time to communicate.

We are not 100% sure about this so do not think we will be going to instantly abandon the game but we are talking about holding it for a few months.

Yes I agree, this was a very early alpha map that we had worked on a while ago. We have changed the layout of the entire house but are hoping to have these maps in there after we edit them.

From what I've played this mod is pushing in the right direction. I think if you stop using models from sites like gamebanana and learn to model or find a good friend who knows how to model and start creating models and advanced maps for people to check out.

Ohh how wrong you were all those years ago. The game is excellent but the engine is horrid to work with. It seems Valve and Respawn Entertainment (Titanfall 2013, yes a modified Source Engine game) have modified it and made it an excellent engine to use.

A lot better than the original 2008 engine that you would have had to deal with.

A lot of people would have killed to have this support when they first started modding. Advice like this is rare from other developers.

I hope your not focusing on a career in games development as anger management and an attitude towards others will get you nowhere in a career like this. You will always have to work in a team no matter what.

I still like how as the buildings coming down around him he still manages to get his camera out and take photos of it, priceless.

Sounds about right, people just share them with their friends and play together. There has to be a group of professionals that are willing to actually explore entire areas and check that everything works pre-release

It does look a bit cartoon based with the textures but it still looks amazing. I am not one to criticise because I suck at 3D modeling.
