However, whenever I work on projects and such, I never really take screen caps or videos of bugs - so I guess if I was asked to present one or both of those, I'd be out of luck too.
Usually if I have a problem with something, I ask someone by describing the problem and giving details, screenshots are only if words can't describe it and once the issue is resolved, said screenshot is usually deleted.
Haha, thank God I don't need to produce anything otherwise I might be SoL.
To be honest Slartibartfast, although I am not trying to defend him in any manner.
I would just like to say that if I hadn't worked on a project in 7 years and had already released all of the assets for people to use, why would I hang onto them?
And most likely, the places he released his assets to probably aren't around anymore.
At this point it's probably really difficult to show anything unless he has a back-up CD or whatever lying around.
Is that language really necessary Heaven?
I speak german fairly well as well so I could potentially help.
Neat. Could be very interesting.
What is wrong with this posting system? Haha I post a response to a post on the second page but somehow end up responding to a post on the front page. What?
Anyway, like I said, I don't believe anywhere in that conversation did Heavenhorse claim he knew how far BMS was into development. I don't see that indicated anywhere, so I think you may have misread that Pokeylope. :P :3
He never claimed he knew how far the Black Mesa: Source team was. I think you misread that Pokeylope. :P
I don't believe that the chipped paint and rust at the bottom should be red. It should actually be a mix of colours like real rust; grey, orange, red, and yellow.
Otherwise looks good.
Interesting but long read.
I actually gave up on trying to get into the industry a long time ago - and I tried to get into it for years. I was a decent artist specializing in 2D art, texture painting and prop modelling.
However, no one was ever interested or wanted to give me a chance and any and all mods that I ever worked on always died. I also tried networking, and made many friends at Relic/Blackbox/Ubisoft/EA (all in Vancouver). However, none of them could help let alone even mention my name because I was told that most of the time HR doesn't give a **** what their employees say about potential hires.
Anyways, I have since become a Police Officer - kudos to anyone who makes it into the industry.
Here comes the knockout punch!
