Reading that thread and the references to Direct X lead me to believe it may have something to do with ENB maybe?

[error][259] : No more data is available.

Only 2.05 error I have to report. This happens on ANY load of a savegame in Wild Territory and on transition to Bar from Wild Territory. Hardsaves and quicksaves both yield this error. Reloaded from a Yantar save and tried to get through Wild Territory a second time with no luck. =/ Not sure what causes this, Google yields no answers.

I'm getting this game breaking bug. I know it's directly related to the ENB addon. If I remove all ENB/SweetFX related files, or leave the Shaders file unchanged, the problem ceases. Though if I don't remove/rename the shaders file I lose all ENB effects and they're replaced with the original shader files, which, in my opinion, aren't that great. Not compared to the ENB addon. It has run perfect smooth up until this point. This crash occurs when I approach the Bandit base in Dark Valley.

I've located the shadow_world file under the R2 folder. Of course for ENB to be enabled this folder has to be commented out. Any suggestions?

I posted this on the ZoA page as well. No answer yet from the.

BTW, the mod has run bug free up to this point. I know in the past there were some qwerks with weight and magazine management. The gun play is by far the best of any STALKER mod, or most any other shooter I've played for that matter. That's what really draws me to this mod. Thanks guys.

And I can't believe how smooth it runs, even with ENB involved. My Nvidia 550 seems to struggle with ENB on most games, but it runs baby bottom smooth on this. I don't know what you guys did to optimize it all so well, but keep it up.

As far as I remember that's always been like that. It's a rough thing considering most vanilla stashes, especially that early aren't worth much, even without having to jump feet first in a springboard to get it. SEVA suit, maybe a couple Souls and Springs, eat a medkit and jump in. That's the way I always handled that stash and did this mod the same way.

Reporting, that not taking all the side quests at once, does in fact work for the corrupted saves. I've always had a habit of loading up my quest log with everything so I can finish them as I go. This broke my saves in this mod twice now, causing me to restart twice. I'm not bitter, this is just an Xray bug, but this time around I've only picked up side quests as I've met the requirements for them so I could turn them in the moment I got them. Except for the assassin missions, which I've only taken one, to kill the Exo Stalker at the Military Warehouses. Not one crash so far. I'm going to make a full play through of this mod, or die trying. I want to find that AK12 dammit.

A little google revealed no answer. Is it possible to add a COP style "Hit Any Key To Continue" to the loading screen in SOC. Not that the load times are very long or anything, but if I have to step away from the computer for a minute while it's loading, it would be handy to not have it jump straight in game.

Well dang. I see. That's a bummer. Any idea on what factors may cause the game to save that way? Or what data it is getting corrupted? Like I said, it did it to me several times in the the lab and Yantar, but my autosaves seemed to be the only saves without that problem. I guess that's because the Autosave was made before data became corrupted from something on that particular map. My hardsave and quick save in the Wild Territory after I left Yantar did the same. So I just hauled *** through there to the level changer to the Bar. CTD'd loading the Bar, so I assume that Autosave was corrupted with bad data, created at some point during my travels through the Wild Territory. I guess it could be about any kind of random Xray engine bug that's corrupting data, but it would be interesting to know exactly what. In the mean time, I'll just have to start over again, which isn't so bad. I really just want to lay hands on that AK12 I read somewhere that was added.

From the main menu I tried the console command sv_changelevel, but I keep getting a CTD. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not typing in the levels right, I can't find a list anywhere, or if it just isn't going to work that way. I tried both bar and yantar as level names after sv_changelevel.

This is a bummer because both my hardsaves, quicksave and autosave are all bugged. DX Would it be possible to send you my save files to see if they yield that bug for you too?

I tried google. There are a few old (2010) references to this same error. No one had a clear answer for it. The person who had the error attributed it to a large list of side quests he had. Giving his saves a lot of crashes. Once he turned in/failed the quests he quit running into it. This is the first time I've seen it as well, but I'm stuck with it at the moment. Since none of my saves seem to want to load with out crashing. I'll poke at it some more and let you know what I come up with.

So my game is broken for the time being. Even my hardsaves yield this CTD. And of course the autosave from Yantar to the Wild Territory was overwritten with the one going into the Bar.

Quicksaves, hardsaves, autosaves, level transfers. It's happened several times. I first noticed it in Lab X16 in Yantar. Kept dying and having to reload, this would happen on my quick and hardsaves, so I wrote it off as the save corruption bug. Autosave was the only way I could continue back into the lab until I finally managed a perfect playthrough. X3 Left Yantar into the Wild Territory, died at the hands of mercs, loaded and it happened again. *grumble grumble* Load autosave, all is well, make my way to the level transfer to the Bar. Crash. *grumble grumble* Reload autosave to Bar, crash. Please help.

Thanks, but after a minute and a half of Google and reading the creature config files I found the modifier for mutant parts. It just always kills me that I have to kill so many pseudodogs and such before a tail actually drops.

Made it as far as the Freedom territory on patch 03 before breaking my game with quicksaves. X3 Took a long hiatus and played Skyrim for the first time for a full play through. Saw you put up patch 04 and decided to start a new game with plenty of hardsaves. Feels great, looks great and haven't crashed yet, knock on wood. It's challenging, but not frustrating, which it felt like the first time I played it.

PS, I still think the droprate on mutant parts should be higher, if not drop parts every time you kill one. But that's just like, my opinion man. Is there a way I can tweak the code myself for that?

Playing for Freedom won't make Duty hostile...unless, you take the optional quests to eliminate Duty patrols, then they get all butthurt when you show up to the bar. Picture related.

In other mods, I've encountered countless quest breaking mutant encounters when new spawns were added. Mostly a mob of "insert any mutant here" runs over an important NPC where there normally wouldn't be any mutants. Like helping Bullet rescue his Duty friend from the Bandits in Dark Valley. I've had him get killed a lot and even if he lived it broke the quest line regardless. Or Kruglov getting owned by a mob before you even get to start fighting any Mercs. Just take heed, adding spawns can really put some disheartening tension on your gameplay.

Not a single crash or stutter yet. Headed to the Bar after Agropom. Here are my suggestions on a patch, take 'em or leave 'em.

Mutant part drop rate. Why must I kill 4 or more pseudodogs to get a tail off of one? Same goes for all mutants, they really should have a much higher drop rate on parts.

Fall damage. It feels excessive. Hopping down off the roof of a bus shouldn't cause the player to bleed, or even get hurt much at all. I always make the assumption that Strelok is a bit of an athlete, especially considering you can parkour your way to any height in the game.

Hunger. I starved myself half to death when sleeping. I've managed to compensate the rate at which hunger affects you by the high drop rate of food off of loot. Eat on the run.

Cutscenes. Some mods have taken out the cutscenes such as Agropom. I don't know how other people feel about it, but I've been killed, a lot, by mutants and such during the various cutscenes.

Weapon damage. I really don't believe a guy in a joggers suit can take 6+ 5.45 rounds and live. But muh headshots, maybe if I had a gun with a tight enough shot group to make headshots consistent it wouldn't be so bad.

I'm not being critical, but these are the only things I noted I thought needed improvement or work. This version of SHOC, in my opinion, is hands down the best graphical and audio version to date. Seriously, the environment is absolutely amazing. Plus I have not had one crash yet, knock on wood. The character model variation is awesome as well. I'm jelly of Wolf, I want his outfit. I think I saw a suit or two from that STALKER Online game, or maybe SO stole those from something else. Haha. I really enjoy the unique weapons as well. I'm taking that tac SU74 I got from Bes all the way to the wish granter. Anyway, thanks for this smooth, beautiful mod. You hit your aim dead center.
