MISERY 2.0 is THE mod for Call of Pripyat, as far as I'm concerned.

It improves upon the base game in so many ways, from hundreds of new items, entire new classes to start the game with and enemies that actually know how to aim and you have a new definition of a bullet to the face. Every enemy you meet is a new challenge, and every enemy you bring down brings an added amount of satisfaction... And loot to boot! Although the new economy can make it a little tough to get rid of it all. But that's what personal stashes are for, right?

Add to that the new weather system, economy, and almost entirely retextured game you have yourself a realistic, beautiful work of art.

There are a few minor issues, including Bullet-Sponge-Bandits and a few UI issues, but overall it was definitely worth the wait!
