True, the Ion Cannon Sat has to be directly over a target to fire, Shoot off a handful of railgun rounds and you can destroy it, or at least render it inoperable...

Because since TW1 GDI has had the Orca in service, yes they had the transport copter but their attack aircraft that was buildable was the Orca VTOL aircraft!!!
