Sorry to hear that, it seems like a great game indeed :) and you have already other games under your belt so I'm more inclined to trust you about finishing it, maybe the starting price is a little high? that is a big turn off initially, how about an indie bundle? have you tried that? That really boosts the people playing a game

You know what, forget it, maybe it's me that overpowers the game a little :) my armor is all customized and I usually pick the best I can find and yes most of my money comes from selling stuff, on the other hand i spent quite a lot of time clearing buildings. I enter a building, find every living person, rob them completely, shoot them in the face and steal their weapon. When I max out my inventory I teleport to an outpost where I can sell, then I teleport back and continue. That's probably why I get a lot of good weapons and armor with upgrades and stuff, I tend to read stats a lot and choose the best thing on the spot. Oh and I tried to go to an area like level 23, it starts to be challenging with normal soldiers AND I get oneshotted by capital ships (the big ones right?) so yeah I lost lots of money, from 300k i'm down to 140k something like that (still quite a sum if you ask me). Maybe the problem is that I can three-shot these uber level enemies and they actually damage 1/12 of my life or something like that, maybe make them stronger? Or it may be just that my armor is overpowered as you said. I laid out the facts for you, you can decide what to do ;) oh and most importantly, love the game, the graphics, the factions, everything, no complaints whatsoever, maybe the mining system isn't very clear to me but oh well.

I'm at 16 if I remember correctly, I stopped advancing because I was really getting ****** off that I couldn't find quests and shops because my older radars weren't working so I try to advance slowly now, because even if I found some merchants when I was randomly exploring most of them didn't sell me a new radar so that was the most frustrating part of the game for me. Before that I was usually jumping from like 2-4 levels at a time no problem. Now I don't see why I should bother since I can decrease the demon influence from just killing level 1 demons, am I right?
And yes it is harder at first, but nothing so hard that makes me run for my life, a little tactic, stealing and sneak shotgun and i'm on par again with the new level... also I've got too much credits... I try to buy lots of things from merchants, still my credits grow and grow, I stopped doing quests for money because I have too much

I am with you on the "no nerfing death" thing on the FAQ. A lot of people actually ask it, still I think that death is fair at this point, it forces you to think about your survival and to act more like a jack-of-all-trades instead of a munchkin buffing up an intricate build. I tried to not rely on a single item, I sometimes failed miserably and ended up using only one weapon that owned... until I lost it, but I didn't rage, I accepted the challenge to do better (even if it was hard after such a blow). So Yeah, the death penalty is perfect in my opinion, just wanted to say that, but since lot of people ask it, maybe you should just add an option? It would be pretty boring for me personally, which brings me to my request : I am not playing the game on easy mode and I still find the game quite easy, make a hard mode perhaps? :)

tl;dr : Death penalty perfect. Request : Harder game, stronger enemies! >:O
