You are right, I haven't considered it that way, how come the alpa funding failed? Not many people buying the game?
Great job! Altought alien zomboids feel nostalgic now.
"because I don't want to spend 10 years developing ToM :) " Well it certainly seems so since it's 0.07a :D but yeah, I'm sorry to hear all that, but I can understand; this game will still be fun just not the revolutionary way I first tought it was, kinda disappointed really, but maybe I'm failing to see the big picture you guys have in mind (hope I didn't say anything offensive, didn't mean to ^^''). Still going to buy it sooner or later anyway, thanks for your feedback
"But what is planned that is a little related is that the player will be able to rebuild dungeon areas to their liking after blowing into an empty area with bombs or other means. That will allow players to essentially create their own dungeon" - FAQ. How about this feature? I liked the idea of blowing up walls as I see fit, maybe you think it's a broken mechanic because of closed doors easily avoidable? Sorry for all the questions ^^'' just curious
Thanks, will wait for it ^^
Thanks for the link! Oh and I'm sorry to hear that, the random dungeons and all-brekable walls were, while less controllable, very exciting features indeed, I hope you reconsider, maybe do both? Built dungeons and random ones?
So this will play out like multiplayer TES with rogue-like gameplay and breakable walls? I'm new to this game and I would like some info on it ;) I'll probably buy it later
A demo wouldn't be bad :)
okay, I'll definitely give it a go ^^
oh nice permadeath! woot for the update, still... normally capital ships oneshot you... isn't permadeth a little risky? How about a skill like Last Chance in Kingdom Hearts? (When you get hit by a shot that should kill you, you remain alive with 1 hp, then the next hit kills you).
Same here... the nerve of these guys, did they just forget about all this? :/
It would be great, even if the story is actually about you being trapped on the planet. What about it Phr00t?
First I tought that too "Hey a copy of Minecraft!", but only when you play this game you truly realize they share little in the game experience.
The **** guys, one cannot express joy with a jolly remark without getting beheaded by your negative karma? sheesh ('-')/
Ever heard about irony? I was expressing joy.
I wonder if it's not better to concentrate on mouse ship controls first instead of joypad ones (which can be emulated from mouse movement later), what is your priority list onionman? :)
Thank you! Didn't know about the read me
Have you tried 3079?
I'm not sure how to fly the ship, where can I see the commands?
The hell did I just uncover... °O° ... I'm buying this, hope it will not die because it has great potential from what I've seen from the gameplay vieo.
Oh hey, I didn't know this group expanded lol, the one on steam is dead thought
It feels like DOOM with tanks and a voxel environment (maybe make it destructible a little?). We'll see how far does it go :)
Are you ******* kidding me? That update really hits the spot! You rock! Thanks :D
Thanks for all the help and listening me up ^^ for some reason Desura doesn't let me reply to posts anymore. Could I suggest making radars a lot more findable? As I said before, it cost me a lot of frustration searching for one, maybe give a 50% per merchant to sell a radar that level? Maybe power up radars? One thing that would be appreciated I think is that merchants should have more merchandise (that way the player would have a better chance finding good equipment, thus spending more money, giving money a useful role since I rarely find anything I really need from a merchant, and I run quite a lot of them, they just seem useless sometimes, I only buy things I'm not in the mood of finding like temporary better armor or little upgrades). Maybe a way to resolve this could be giving merchants higher level items? (for example, area level 16 with a random chance of a merchant selling a level 16 weapon and a level 18 battery) Just to get my point straight, I had lots of money probably because I really didn't see the point of buying things, only to recicle something I had too much of.
That seems a good thing to do :) I will miss making a fortune with stealing tough, but I always wanted to learn mining in 3079, still, If I am correct, you only get the skill point when you get a gem right? Am I missing something here? Because it's really really rare to get a gem with stones.
You know what, forget it, maybe it's me that overpowers the game a little :) my armor is all customized and I usually pick the best I can find and yes most of my money comes from selling stuff, on the other hand i spent quite a lot of time clearing buildings. I enter a building, find every living person, rob them completely, shoot them in the face and steal their weapon. When I max out my inventory I teleport to an outpost where I can sell, then I teleport back and continue. That's probably why I get a lot of good weapons and armor with upgrades and stuff, I tend to read stats a lot and choose the best thing on the spot. Oh and I tried to go to an area like level 23, it starts to be challenging with normal soldiers AND I get oneshotted by capital ships (the big ones right?) so yeah I lost lots of money, from 300k i'm down to 140k something like that (still quite a sum if you ask me). Maybe the problem is that I can three-shot these uber level enemies and they actually damage 1/12 of my life or something like that, maybe make them stronger? Or it may be just that my armor is overpowered as you said. I laid out the facts for you, you can decide what to do ;) oh and most importantly, love the game, the graphics, the factions, everything, no complaints whatsoever, maybe the mining system isn't very clear to me but oh well.
sorry for the triple post, nvm on that demon thing, I killed a level 17 demon and it dropped from 98% influence to 66%
