I would kid,
any reconnisance unit with sense going solo would use their pistol, and they sure as hell wouldn't miss point blank either. Not to mention the Russian kalishnikov high caliber model SVD, is a semi auto-matic and the barrel of the rifle can be replaces to a snub version if needed on the field.

I would buddy, but I wouldn't be on point in my squads formation I would be third back in place of the medic as a reconnaissance unit.

To be candid with you guys, because I'm constantly seeing this problem with utmost animosity. My personal suggestion to you after my countless years of modding is to not give a choice in whether or not they have a choice in wiping the user settings.

With a relatively low resolution MAYBE, it depends on your processor. Me personally I use a 1080p TV 42" I run at 1980 x 1080 for most of my games but for Lost Alpha I run a 1280 x 720 for recording to increase my FPS at Maximum. I hope this help's you.

If you are using a gamesave before the patch, there may be some of the old script still loading and lingering around, if you can PM me a crash log. I should be able to help you out.

This may be due to your processor, ram, or the fact that you are running on a high resolution. As this is a demanding game, it may be even set at a capped 30 FPS. Play with your settings before complaining. :)

MSVCR120.ddl is obtained from the Microsoft re-disputable 2010 package, you can find this on Microsoft's website. This has nothing to do with the standalone game it's self and is overall really your fault. Make sure you keep your direct X SDK, Microsoft re-disputable, Graphics Card Drivers, and any other drivers you use i.e. special audio, overclocking etc constantly updated every 3 months to prevent these kinds of problems.

I see what you're saying. But in combat you don't have a "ZOOM" on a holographic or red-dots/ Iron sights used which actually Ill note there that would be a cool addition. anything that's 2x-4x down should just be a set perimeter of a zoom and the blackness be taken out. Agreeing with both you and the community here the blackness should only be added with that on any form of high caliber rifle. I.E. et al snipers.

Well I'll put it this way as my brother works as a mechanic and I've ridden in a beat up old 87 ford pickup half my life. Has the ford had any miles replaced. How much gas are in them. What model of cylinder do they both have. What's the miles on the transmission. ETC. Honestly I would say that all lies upon MULTIPLE variables rather than one set list.

As I train for Special Forces in Naval ROTC, I've made damn sure that in MISERY 2, everything that the USS special forces units should already know and have are on them. I cannot disclose anymore besides that which has been noted. But thank you for that concern on the recoil. Please PM me for anything further. Just wanted to note that.
