let me get this strait... you mean I can take a warfare map and turn it into a VCTF map without having it save settings to be bugged in the origional map?

does modification include adding vehicles to some maps (and other things like powerups and guns) in the same map?
I do hope you guys reconsider the button sequence for reasons against laggy players and even some sync-kills against things of a carnifex's size...
Laggers = a chance of not finishing therefore a cheap counter or frozen in place for a nade popper to score both a kill and BETRAYAL!
Big target sqences = a chance to be left wide open for a headshot if the enemy knows where the player lands once finish with that sequence
On the button contest: I think it would also be a negative for those who "draw it out" or those so damn skilled ends up being one epic scene it would be strange to pass a force commander trying to kill a chaos lord when the same player controlled soldiers passed them 2-4 times in a row
If that is what you guys are gonna stick with please have a way to "Break" H2H fights.
Also another thing I'd like to know: Will there be PHYSICAL changes as in armour/guns (kinda obvious on that one)/extra materials like an ammo belt? It's nerve racking when I keep finding games with no physical change to the character or (in RTS's cases) multiple units (I do get a feeling this is 100% NOT a squad based RTS nor anything related to RTS)
And will there be some form of multiplayer survival? Xeno's wanting to kill humans is begging for one IMO!
also a good plus for having top-down to TPS/FPS camera switching (might be a negative if the change camera is just using the mousewheel... Good Lord I'm getting sick of it)
so what else to add to the table of empty discussion... Oh yea
how will fighting in hand to hand combat work? To my pre-FPS/TPS experience, so many people are trigger happy :P
about the titan:
lack of reasearch on this Skatri, At least a guard that can be killed... Friendly or not (how else could Chaos gain titans when HH war broke free? :P) less the guys were assigned into it I don't see why some febel resistance can't be killed by footmen. In some cases you do have to say "Screw Mechanicus's rules WE NEED IT!"

I'm thinkin of build up would be like infrantry Waaagh = small, warboss or any boss class = Large to Warband Siege. For the tyranids... I guess it would require at least a nidian warrior (hive mind link or w/e) nidian Tyrant would be the main invasion summonier... carnifex's may be large, but they are dumb to link at hive mind (if I'm guessing right at DoWII idea of "Hive Link" being used)
Also, Inquisitor, if ya ever wish for a Beta Tester I could give a crack at it :).
well part of controlling the "fallen" titan is to have weapons be at a certain AOR and certain AOE, unmoveable but devastating turrets that are MAN CONTROLLED (I don't expect the Imperium be smart enough to expect a titan to have AI Anti-Infrantry and Anti-Vehicle defenses on certain parts of it like entrance points on legs and body just big *** guns) more or less I'm picturing the titan as split apart like in DoWIWA in the Campaign.
For the horde thing... I think it be nice to have a "Build up" instead of full force (like how a "Waaaaaaaaaaaaagh!" is started by some badassed Warboss) and in some way... be like a zombie apocolipse? (minus the zombies of corse) free roam at points (or maps) be better then stuck on the same trashed area when lag is generated by so many explosions and holes in ground.

so... uh... will the style of combat be alike run n shoot shoot n run idea? (as in aim with mouse walk with arrows on top shooting like 4 guns at once) kinda like mech assault (if ya ever played the demo) it be nice if one could use like 4 weapons at once while getting other gear to slightly enhance yerself.
looks great but I would reconmend to send the UT3 not the UDK up first or best have both up at the same time.

hmmm black templars, chaos legions... will this include the "Codex" varients... such as ultra marines fight style versus the black templars style of fighting alike the chaos legions alligence to their chaos gods (death guard, world eaters, etc.) if put in I mean
and as for titan wreck and titan in their "factories"... could it be possible to use parts of the titans as either bases or emplaced guns? (maybe both) bring a whole idea of "MUST SECURE THAT EPIC MACHINE!" infact I think it could be a mission objective to win. :P
and as to add to XxChaosUndividedxX idea of survival could it be both just plain stay alive with one or more soldiers as well as defend the item for so long in waves (assuming that idea) to gain items (wargear, tactical items, drop pods, and etc.)
would the campaign also include the "Corrupt" system from DoWIICR? Be awsome as space marines *Imagins killing Chaos Khrone Berserkers as a Terminator weilding an Assult Cannon* hopefully as a class too >.> *Terminator cheer?* :P
the last question i already knew as a no but i just added it as a funny question.
so for the certain upgrades... are they like chosing between tech marine, apothicary, librarian, force commander, and etc. varying from all races (assumed all races are choseable even those mass killing tryanids) and also what about vehicles that Dawn of War did... buy upgrades like a Dreadnaught allowed to have a assult cannon or a heavy flamer while in customisaton (again assuming)? also the Dreadnaught brings a secondary question: does dread be counted as a player replacement as vehicle or not? I understand a dread as a zombie (race related most likely orks/sm) in a metallic battle coffin.
I have a few questions:
Custom Legion/Chapter/Warband/etc. (RBG colors and banners stuffs)?
Weapon buy options for unit/vehicle (assuming the class option is avalable too)?
Widescale to smallscale battles (limits on what vehicles to use in a map vs another one, general infrantry fights to vehicle nessesity)?
And one last one for vehicle: TITANZ?!
are some of the damage values be based off of the warhammer codex or just based on "balanced" Dawn of War playing?
Mind if I ask where is the readme?
Man I tried this and all it's missing to me is some INVASION! Plus some more melee choices... swingin hammer around isnt great if ya can't see upgrade difference.
P.S. Is it ever possible to try and add some of custom-yet-related chaos UT wargear? To me that's what this mod feels like: Chaos UT3! Keep up the good work
got some screenies of some of their wargear? it does sound like a great mod but i dont want to try because of the possible images of the old knights n armour BS.

might be late to ask but are you guys gonna try to have the DoW II kind of style or just the DoW I style of building units and buildings? also... anything close to codex?
so... if memory serves me right, your char gets to use turrets that are meant for rhinos/landraiders? seesh id rather go with tech marine and his tarantula turret and maybe the full heavy bolter turret (one featured in DoW I which i ask: what kind of bolter turret is that?). Anyhow... seems like your getting progress, next thing we need is some way to upgrade vehicles while driving lol

are those turrets... tarantula turrets? i know for a fact the heavy bolter turret would be hellovalot bigger...

for the arms: i think you have to make it act like any normal UT3 weapon (like the sniper rifle pose). justa guess the way to make it weild with one hand is pretty much A: expand the gun or B: missing code? or some animation not running properly im just guessing
had to ask anyhow... but wouldnt that cause a problem? say i wanted to be a devastator unit and i wanted the multi-melta but i get a heavy-bolter instead, id be pretty ticked and wanting to look for a way to change loadout... vehicles are a if (specialy the types of pred's) and the dreads... wont that be a mechanized player instead of a vehicle?

just to question: what are ya gonna do about what happens in DoW, you can upgrade the squad/vehicle, is this gonna show up in the game? when ye get a coder 'n all that, cus that would be sweet instead of just running around with a basic bolter finding a ammo dump and getting more magazines
