I currently study computer science at Technical University of Darmstadt with focus on machine learning, computer vision and robotics.
Hello folks,
sorry that it's quiet around here, I'm more or less busy with school and other development stuff.
First some words to the picture (see left).
It is a grenade deodorant for a project my bro is working on in the University and I made their idea of a deodorant into a 3D Object.
There will be some diferents, but it's a raw idea. The texture shall be like this, aswell the design.
It's one of a few models I've done in the past, but I wont upload them all here, aswell I'm doing stuff for Biohazard X: Source, a great HL2 mod.
But another reason, why I havent uploaded so much in the past is, that I am learning Java Programming at school and because I wanted to learn more than I do in school I've practiced for myself, and now I am doing a Java based Clickadventure with some classmates, who are more or less the class best.
So there is a connection to a database etc, we are planning gameplay, designs etc.
My part in the team is mostly GUI Programming, so getting everything from the player to the game.
Creating a main menu is my current task, after that I have to create an "engine", so ingame GUI, which is flexible to change to create different scenes etc.
I have to say, I like programming.
It's, as far as I've done it, pretty cool, and I spent nearly every free minute of my spare time in the last 2-3 weeks in front of the Java API, Eclipse (Programming Programm) and some Java Books getting started with Java GUI.
So lets see how it turns out and how far we can get with our 1/2 year skills of programming (well, one m8 does some Webdesign and programming since a bunch (~2) years).
Hope you liked this li'l update.

Good to hear from ya. Sounds like you have been busy. Glad to hear that programming may be in your list of experiences. Programmers are a special personality that likes to stare at code all day and rework, rework, rework it.
I have done a bit of webprogramming with flash and web design. I'm not completely afraid of coding, but its not quite as enjoyable as modeling.
I hope you will show some more examples of your work.
Hey, thanks alot.
Well, Ive redone my guis very often, getting less code with same functions etc :)
I try to show some work in the future :-)
