Lego Figure modeled and rendered in Blender [Blender internal Render]
Modeling time ~1 h (arms where really hard :P)
On the render all parts (exept chest and body) have a lvl-2 Subdivision modifier applied.

Hey guys,
here is a little Lego Figure model I made this night. The arms were really hard to make, I tried alot of techniques to get a smooth and well placed structure. It turned out pretty well, not the best though.
I may redo the model, texture it and create a render this week, I have to see when I have time.
Anyway, hope you like it!
Cheers!
Ohhh, Lego. One of my favorite modeling subjects (as you probably know =)
I'd say good job. One minor criticism would be that the hands and arms are a little to small. The torso is slightly to wide as well.
But yeah, nice model, keep working on those techniques! =)
Any plan on using this mini-fig for anything?
Oh, you like modeling Lego? :P Na, just kitten ^.^
Thanks! Yes, the proportion are messed up. I found a reference (front + side) in google, but the proportion there where just really fcked up, and there were some differences between each view. :/ I corrected it a bit with the help of my screen agent (little lego figure under my screen :D ) but I did not notice the huge differences which still exist, thanks, try to fix that later :D
I think I make a little lego city, I may ask my big brother for some ideas because I likes Lego more than I do haha :D
Much appreciated Admiral :)
if you make a Lego city, are you going to make the individual blocks and piece them together one at a time?
That's generally how I make my Bionicles. Though it happens really easily your model becomes quite high poly that way... Curse you restrictions of technology =(
