I moved apartment last weekend and is left without a internet connection, it's ordered though and will hopefully show up this week, just writing this at work. Due to this, not much progress on the mod have been done except for screenplay and backstory writing ive done in notepad late and lonely nights without the intraweb, its pretty helpful when writing a post-apocalyptic story though to be alone in an empty, old apartment so some breakthroughs have been done on the story front. Furthermore i have a question; why can't i access steam in offline mode? Also, why the hell can't i access steam in offline mode?!?!

So, some story teasing? Well, your characters name is Victoria Clay and have lost her memory at the start of the game (real original, right?), to justify this, as i hate to be unoriginal it's really quite needed since you havnt lived inside of Victoria her entire life and having her entire life reflected in the story, as your discover your past. also i'd like the player to face things victoria have done in the past without nessecarily agree with what she did, and she is you so that is important. Either i could make a really generic hero so you can put yourself into the character or i could make an interesting character that i then wipe clean so to speak so you can project yourself on to her without her nessecarily being boring.

A third option is to tell her story right off the bat before you take control of the character but this rather puts the story behind the character instead of ahead, and since this is a story and not gameplay focused game that would be a problem.

The backstory is about the state of the world, the active story is about who Victoria is.
