Big fan of all Valve games. I believe that Gaben is god on earth.
I love playing the "tech demo" levels on games, years after their release. Now, looking back, I think some of the tech demo levels for games can be better than most of the levels in the game itself. Half-Life 2 was good all-over though, absolutely flawless.
Wow, there's an image I haven't seen in a while. Going back, I remember the E3 2003 presentation of Half-Life 2, is it just me or did the Beta look and feel better than the finished game? I don't know, I just think it looked darker and creepier, similar to the setting of the first Half-Life, except in a city and not Black Mesa.
I've seen this played on YouTube, I think I'll give it a go.
Saw this on the asoiaf forums, looks amazing. I've been playing the Crusader Kings 2: A Game of Thrones mod, but I find it lacking on the combat side of the series. If only the two games could be combined... now there's an idea!
Wow, very nice!
Brilliant character design, kind of reminds me of Jack off Mass Effect.
I just watched the E3 demo footage, I remember watching it back in 2003 and thinking, "This game's going to be amazing! Can't wait until September!" but then Valve didn't bring it out until mid-2004 -_-
Good to hear the mod's not dead. Good luck!
The best mod for Half-Life ever! You are a genius :D
I remember playing this a while back, going to play it through again, good work.
I can't load it either, I get this message: Unable to open mov_skeletons.brf
Classic mod, haven't played it in a while but I'm going to start playing it again.
Brilliant mod, kudos to you good sir!!
Looks interesting, I'll give it a shot.
Certainly original, have to wait and see how it turns out.
I agree, nice lighting.
Wow, this screen kind of reminds me of the first Half-Life game, dunno why I'm just weird like that :D
I've never really been affected by 'bad' graphics, but I know what you mean.
Wow, four years in the making, from what I've seen it looks like it has been worth it.
Stunning, Deus Ex has never looked this good until now.
I'd probably need a pretty damn in-depth explanation to figure out what's going on, but looks cool none the less.
