that may be, but they are still fun to mess around with.
it has so much potential, sure the regular SP gets boring but then you can go play the many mods made for it.
the engine may seem out dated but man modders make it happen :D

there are some great ut2004 mods!
you got Frag-Ops, you got Red-Orchestra, you got Killing-Floor (with vr. 200 on the way), you got Hollow-Moon (in progress), you got Ballistic-Weapons, you got Law-Dogs, you got Strike-Force, ect.
a few of those aren't played online but dang they are great.
