I like mods. A lot. Also, I play drums. I am going to the Art Institute of Philadelphia for Film.
This is without a doubt my most anticipated thing to play, even beating out most retail games. That being said, I hope I can still get scared of this mod by the time it comes out. I've been playing that Amnesia game that came out a couple days ago and... I don't know man. It's desensitizing me to horror pretty quickly. Scariest game I've ever played. Hopefully this will top that!
Despite needing a few touch-ups, which you've mentioned, looks great!
Cannot WAIT for an english release. About how many average hours of gameplay are in this mod?
This is one of the funniest mods I have ever played.
I really liked the mod. It pretty much turned out the way I had wished. It was successfully atmospheric, had good voice acting (certainly above par considering the norm around here), and had fun gameplay. Of course, there are a few gripes I have to confess. The scares were well integrated and creative, but I felt that some of your ideas were perhaps TOO influenced by other games, with situations almost directly ripped.
***SPOILERSPOILERSPOILER*** Many were like F.E.A.R. like the part with the morgue where the bodies shoot out and the "alternate world" scenarios. You could also relate your idea with the manikins to a situation in the first Condemned game. Keep in mind, I still thought these were well executed. Also, the part with the SWAT guy that goes crazy: at first I couldn't tell which one was going crazy and shot the wrong one, twice. Though that's a minor complaint and probably my fault. ***END SPOILER END SPOILER*** Also, there seemed to be a lot of random buggy sounds, like the flashlight toggle, that drew from the immersion of the whole experience. Also, perhaps the guns should have been more powerful and the enemies hit harder, whereas they were weak and I had to use a lot of bullets. It may seem like I found more flaws than strengths, but that's not true. This is definitely one of the more well-executed mods I have seen. Again, I was immersed the entire time, the VA and music were well done, I even *spoiler* cared when one of my squadmates got hurt. *endspoiler* I would love to see what else you guys come up with in the near future. This mod was certainly worth the wait. 9/10
It's $7.99 on steam right now.
Hooooooooooly ****. Awesome.
Pretty accurate. Like.
I think there's no getting around how awesome this mod is going to be anymore.
Well, it makes we want to play it.
I like this.
Very happy to see this near a release date. Can't wait.
Um, this looks really, really good.
This is probably the best reason I've ever heard to delay a mod. You've got my support; won't stop tracking.
Bad news? Shots are cool.
Holy **** this looks satisfying! I was hoping this game would turn out like this; a bigger, better mistake.
Awesome, it looks like what I hoped it would be, though the teaser was a bit short.
Mapping was basic and mod lacked polish. Having said that, I saw some really great ideas here. The part with the hallway and the mirrors breaking and the part right at the end were done pretty well. More non-HL monsters would be cool. Custom content is paramount in horror mods especially. For people that have played HL2 and any of the plethora of mods available, familiarity takes away from the horror atmosphere. Good so far, keep it up!
So, I'm guessing this is never coming out?
Is there an update coming up? I'm dying for more information!
Well, it's a pretty good model
This mod, based on the WIP video, seems like it will have a very original style. Looks very atmospheric, lots of custom content. Surprised I hadn't noticed a unique mod like this before, so, tracking.
It really looks real. Seriously.
Well, I like it.
Halfquake sunrise was amazing. I'm dying to try out Nehrim; hope that English version comes out soon. I mean they ARE working on it, I believe.
It's easier to wait for an awesome game to come out when it's free, so no complaints.
