Well, I tried the method you linked to, and a few problems arose. First of all, I couldn't select any number or letter for the controls, including the spacebar, so I ended up using tab to go forward and rely on my trackpad skills to turn. I couldn't jump, so I died pretty much every 5 seconds. That got old really quickly. Also, the main menus were almost non-functional. The background was white, and so was the text, so finding links was a little bit of a pain at first.
I talked to your Mac support guy, and I was told there would be a compiled .app released yesterday; maybe today?
Agreed. Most projects have forums of their own, and even on top of that method of communication, there's email and MSN. PMs should have been second priority imho.
I would, but I neither have the time nor the HL2. The Mac disease strikes.
On another note, would there be interest in a Texture Artist's forum? Tutorials, resources, c&c... the whole bit. Maybe even awards and such. I checked Google and texture artist forums just don't exist. Plenty of 3D forums to go around, and no doubt that graphic art is a popular subject, but creating maps for models is such a delicate art, and is pretty deserving of a forum. If someone else doesn't start it, I will. :)
I'm actually surprised there aren't more tutorials here. With 45 members of talent, there ought to be enough man power and brains to write a book, or even several books! Just food for thought.
I just recently started modeling, having been a texture artist for a little over a year and a half now.
Orcas rule. :P
Holy crap MadKill, you make up for like all of the comments.
One more week. :)
Well you deserve it imo, even though I haven't been here for more than a month.
I like v2 better than v3 tbh, but v4 is one of my favorite site designs ever. The integration is amazing.
Correction: Petitions on the internet never work.

Thanks for the link. I talked to your Mac support guy, and I'm told there will be an installer released soon?
PC vs. 360?
Fix: "Get involved and who knows, you may even see some of your ideas make there way into a game!"
It's 'their' not 'there'.
Lol, anti-right clickers don't work on le Mac.
Good job texture man.
So who "compiled" the Mac version?
Ty for this.
Great stuff! Only critique, the leaves are a tad bright.

Oh, it's been ruined. Lame.
Lmao! Look at the number of ratings given.
*can't wait for Help Wanted to return...*
Yes!

Best wait for the help wanted feature to return for that. ;)
Fantastic! I only wish I was almost as good..
Ah, the member count fooled me into thinking that this had been around for a while.
If anyone is looking for a texture artist's group, Moddb.com
I've written over 30 tutorials on texture art, only one of which has been submitted to ModDB so far: Moddb.com

*waves at Wolve*
Will this be ported to Mac?
Thanks. We needed a place like this around. :)
We should start advertising this group. I'm sure we're not the only 8 texture artists on ModDB. Anyway, here's some material of mine:

Woa, that's got to be the most amazing thing I've seen this year... on a computer at least.
