I'm Rob Kimball. I play Photoshop.
Are you guys filming corny cutscenes too?

Is there any hope for a Mac port?
This is phenomenal.
Thanks guys, much appreciated! Tell your friends!
I believe he's showing off the cape... either that or he's autistic.
We are for the most part finished with the conceptual development of the game. Though we very much appreciate your enthusiasm, there is no longer a need for historical reference contributors for the current version. When 0 A.D. part II comes around however, you're welcome to offer an application

The biggest hold up is what's under the hood. Tell your experienced developer friends: we need help!
Yes, we plan to release a beta prior to the release of the big 1.0. Due to the nature of freeware projects, where developers contribute their spare time at no financial salary, it may be a while. Tell your experienced developer friends: we've got room.
Not exclusively or currently, but we'll let the community know if we need any more than we already have.
Keep in mind that the current "release" is very much incomplete and intended for fellow developers submit bug reports.

Believe it or not, 0 A.D. is fairly light on the CPU. Just don't zoom out too far. ;)
This mod was released 8 years ago, btw. : )
Yay for dead development!
Oh, that's cool man. I used to live in a little town called Tervuren. It's about 10 miles East of Brussels.
Yes. Always 100% free.
Dark, you're staff? Congrats, even though I'm probably months late... lol.
I don't think I've ever asked, what part of Belgium are you from?
You're always welcome to apply. :)
Contact Michael (Mythos_Ruler) if you're looking to become an artist. He's the head of that department.
Check out the Pyrogenesis engine page for minimum system requirements. Note that these are estimates and may not represent the recommended system specifications for the final release.
Though we'd love to have that feature for a lot of reasons, it's very unlikely that we'll implement that feature in the initial release for a lot of other reasons.
While slightly disturbing, this game is a great coffee break stress-reliever. From what I've noticed after a few tries, it does become more challenging as you collect more blood, and I always end up getting swarmed right before the last drop, and then the time runs out before I can make up for my loss.
Excellent job for a 9-day game.
Only one week remains to enter in our 'Get in the Game' contest. If you intend on competing for a subscription to Ancient Warfare magazine and a chance to have your voice in the game, now is the time to get cracking! Good luck to all the entrants!
Thanks for the support! We can only hope to improve on the game we all knew and loved so well.
It's true, 0 A.D. has been around for a long time, and has undergone many changes over the years. It was originally designed to be a 2D game based on sprites, much like Age of Empires, and it has gradually grown into a highly-customizable open source real-time strategy dream built from the ground up that caters to the player and the modder.
There is some Age of Empires influence in the game, being that half of the current staff comes from the Age of Kings and Age of Mythology modding community, but we have implemented many features to improve upon the games that we all loved. In addition to the game engine being built from the ground up by our staff, we've also constructed the game with the modder in mind, allowing virtually every aspect to be customizable, allowing you to recreate the game to suit your aspirations.
Quick correction on your summary text: Corp. should be Corps. :)
As far as part 2 is concerned, Scythians have been discussed as a definite possibility, and I'd encourage you to participate in the conversation at the thread linked to below, as the topic is still very much in debate, and probably will be for a few years to come.
