After studying scenic arts (theoretical and practical research in theatre, the new media and especially in between ;)) at the university of Hildesheim, Germany, I am now looking forward to become a writer and editor of texts for games and other media! :) My interest in modding is not only scientific (diploma thesis on the deve- lopment of computer game modifications) but also artistically minded, as in my first project, the Far Cry "SturmMOD", in which William Shakespeare's play "The Tem- pest" meets Far Cry... Nice beat, fitting for a menu music, but you should add a different part in between like e.g. an intermediate ascending of the base line which then returns to the loop in order to make the track more interesting to listen to... ;)

I had already been wondering if the black holes on the screen were graphic glitches or special effects (they fitted the dark and gritty environment IMHO), thanks for clearing that up and for the fix! :)

If the character as you describe it is in the grey area between being an enemy but not essentially bad, I would recommend to use GREY as a colour to illustrate this ambivalence... ;)

My only concern is that the menu occupies a lot of space in the player`s view which could be fatal if enemies are close. But I assume that you will have shortcut keys anyway to trigger a command if a player wants to have an unblocked view? Apart from that I like the variety of the commands avialable, keep up the great work! :)

Agreed, such a slow elevator would only make sense IMHO in order to create tension e.g. while the player has to fight back hordes of enemies... ;)
