After studying scenic arts (theoretical and practical research in theatre, the new media and especially in between ;)) at the university of Hildesheim, Germany, I am now looking forward to become a writer and editor of texts for games and other media! :) My interest in modding is not only scientific (diploma thesis on the deve- lopment of computer game modifications) but also artistically minded, as in my first project, the Far Cry "SturmMOD", in which William Shakespeare's play "The Tem- pest" meets Far Cry... Although I`m currently busy writing for commercial adventure games, I try to help where I can, so if you got a problem or questions or simply want to chat, don`t hesitate to contact me! :)
This begs for a disco style map! :)
Thanks for the new year greetings and the best to you and yours as well! :)
Thank you for tracking the Far Cry SturmMOD! Looking forward to your feedback! :)
Seconded ;)
Danke für die Festtagsgrüße, wünsch dir auch frohe Weihnachten und einen guten Rutsch in ein spannendes Neues Jahr! :)
Thank you for tracking the Far Cry SturmMOD! Looking forward to your feedback! :)
Thank you for tracking the FarCry SturmMOD! :)
Gratulation zum 1. Preis! Wünsch euch weiterhin viel Erfolg mit eurem Projekt! :)
Applied and voted! :)
I`d vote for No. 2 - simple yet classy :)
Have to agree with nopushbutton and feltorn regarding the fitting ratio of brown and green in this version! ;)
Looking forward to it! :)
Seconded! :)
Have to agree with Spooboy, the change is minimal yet the first picture looks better! ;)
Thanks for watching the Far Cry SturmMOD! :)
Nice ^^
If you`re refering to the fact that it is possible to complete the SturmMODv1.1 in two ways which both can be reached in a short amount of time given that you know what to do, you`re right, but there is a lot more to discover on Prospero`s Island when you take your time to explore it... ;)
Zur Abwechslung ein JA... ;)
I`d vote 2 or 3 or even to use both if possible in order to have variety! :)
Experimental and explorative mods FTW! :)
Please make sure that your copy of FarCry is patched to version 1.4 as the scripts in the SturmMOD may not work with prior versions of the game ;)
Sounds ambitious, good luck on the execution! :)
Time trial mode already looks nice! One idea I had about the music (if even possible) would be to establish a relation of the speed of it playing to the speed of the player during a run - like the faster the player moves through the level the faster the music is played... ;)
The setting and the coop-gameplay remind me of Shadowgrounds which is a good thing as I enjoyed blasting aliens together with friends in this game! :)
I`d choose the sticky C4 in order to vary gameplay and no prone.
Well, at least YOUR comment isn`t primitive... ;)
Unconventional and explorative mods FTW, definately gonna give this one a try! Good luck in the EUROPRIX competition! :)
Great to see that your mod is still alive and already on such a high level of quality! Keep up the great work! :) (Btw, am I the only one who thinks that a part of the rock (left from the center of the screen) looks like a face :o ?)
Stunning, absolutely stunning! As the mapping and as a result the game play were the only areas not on par with the high level of quality of writing and sound in the original, I`m looking forward to play Dear Esther again in its new perfection! :)
I`d vote for Rundown as well ;)
