Also not having to make an entire engine for example it or make all the assets needed i really hate this modders put more effort in then any AAA company ******** there are examples on both sides.
Its actually matters that they are both set in different points in the game this section isn't meant to be one of the tense not show you much bit outlast has plenty of them too and fairly unique game mechanics.
Its looks interesting needs some work but mainly voice acting currently bother me a little but definatley not something i often in source so good work.
It could be that the mutants or whatever hang up the skeletons of their enemies for a number reasons mainly to scare but its not like it hasn't happened throughout history. Where often enemies, criminals etc were mostly hung up as a warning or to set an example.
Mudbox also rocks! :P
still early access beta but if u buy the early access beta you will get full version on release i think.
Looks fine to me wish i could texture that well and maybe character model at all xD
Doesn't work same error as Komposten
Best way for us to help you is you post something when your ready and i and others will give constructive critique :).
I have to say you have really improved allot this a pretty accurate F1 car model i will say a better render at a different angle would be better and it looks a bit over smoothed in places but overall a very good piece.
Also less is more when it comes to horror the less you see of the thing scaring you the more your brain tries to imagine what it is but if you can clearly see it coming in detail it wont have anything more than shock when it happens.
You do know that thick skin is a requirement in the Games Industry but i do agree that critique without it being constructive is not helpful in anyway.
They are already pretty much have head shot only with the exception of the shotgun which makes sense because a torso shot blows out the spine then the zombie can't physically move the upper body and such like as far as i have noticed pistol or smg or assault rifle are head shot only cant say i use the sniper that much but i reackon it is.
I don't actually believe that this scanning will replace prop modeling i just find it interesting that its being done to that detail but yes any imaginary or object too big to fit would be done by Environment Artists anyway :) it's just an interesting watch.
Anyone else think that is a really good idea :)
Dam now im going to have to re install crysis ^^ this looks too good.
Lol you only have to watch the video to find that out but ye its age of empires.
My guess is its cosmetic damage mainly :D
I wish i had the time to offer my services as a environment artist or something but i will definatley be interested in Kick starting this when some game play is put up.
Love the game cant wait for an SDK release and more official maps to be made and steam workshop would also be really great addition as a 3d Artist id love to get involved in doing stuff for steam workshop but haven't found a game i enjoy with steam workshop enabled.
They have steam forums. Steamcommunity.com You can host servers fine also the maps are playable fine for most people however i will admit a friend of mine is having trouble getting to work however you must bare Beta is Beta so not everything is going to working properly most likely the devs will soon begin work or have already begun to fix the serious bugs with the game.
It'l get done someday its just a huge project and i need to get some experience in making Environment Scenes :P
Sort of looks like Morgan Freeman would be awesome if you just made it Morgan Freeman :)
Looks really amazing haven't got a complaint.
Its most likely done using two photos in the same position split in Photoshop looks pretty good for hammer brushwork.
Brain Infection they had to cut a flap in my skull forehead to ear to get it out but miraculously im mostly fine now :) cept a huge *** scar.
The eyes seem way too big but other than that i like how she is sat in water effect and the tone shading i would look at the Andrew Loomis technique to drawing heads. Youtube.com
This is a really good piece i love the detail on the house and the overall lighting. Would also be easy to use your concept when producing an environment for a game.
Looks amazing could do with being rendered nicely tho the current pics just don't do the model justice
