You do know that thick skin is a requirement in the Games Industry but i do agree that critique without it being constructive is not helpful in anyway.
They are already pretty much have head shot only with the exception of the shotgun which makes sense because a torso shot blows out the spine then the zombie can't physically move the upper body and such like as far as i have noticed pistol or smg or assault rifle are head shot only cant say i use the sniper that much but i reackon it is.
I don't actually believe that this scanning will replace prop modeling i just find it interesting that its being done to that detail but yes any imaginary or object too big to fit would be done by Environment Artists anyway :) it's just an interesting watch.
Anyone else think that is a really good idea :)

I wish i had the time to offer my services as a environment artist or something but i will definatley be interested in Kick starting this when some game play is put up.
Love the game cant wait for an SDK release and more official maps to be made and steam workshop would also be really great addition as a 3d Artist id love to get involved in doing stuff for steam workshop but haven't found a game i enjoy with steam workshop enabled.

Steamcommunity.com You can host servers fine also the maps are playable fine for most people however i will admit a friend of mine is having trouble getting to work however you must bare Beta is Beta so not everything is going to working properly most likely the devs will soon begin work or have already begun to fix the serious bugs with the game.
It'l get done someday its just a huge project and i need to get some experience in making Environment Scenes :P

Looks really amazing haven't got a complaint.
Its most likely done using two photos in the same position split in Photoshop looks pretty good for hammer brushwork.
Brain Infection they had to cut a flap in my skull forehead to ear to get it out but miraculously im mostly fine now :) cept a huge *** scar.
The eyes seem way too big but other than that i like how she is sat in water effect and the tone shading i would look at the Andrew Loomis technique to drawing heads. Youtube.com
This is a really good piece i love the detail on the house and the overall lighting. Would also be easy to use your concept when producing an environment for a game.

The closest answer i can give to whats wrong with it is its not in correct proportion the eyes are way too far apart from the nose and the giant eyebrows i feel it has little to do with the texture or any shader or specular you may or may not have applied and that it is purely anatomical error this gives the whole uncanny valey effect of attempting to look human but not quite looking like an actual person.
I kind of don't like the text on the side either its kinda not needed or funny in any way.
The skeleton animation really reminds me of the stop motion animation skeletons of Jason and the Argonaughts film Youtube.com
This game is more survival orientated so i don't think it is a zombie killing shoot em up

Having been hospitalized a lot of the summer and first year of university i haven't been doing a lot of work for mods or indies just been struggling to catch up so i don't have to resit first year other than that i'm still doing a few models practicing drawing and textures and such i hope to start work on modding or an indie again soon what have you been up to?

Looks alright tone wise but the perspective is a bit off and when you get the perspective wrong on works like this one your mind immediately looks at the faults of the painting.
Pretty much realistic as can be.
