Mobile Forces is a bit of a sleeper title. As I would remember, everyone was blasting on Unreal or Quake 3. Mobile Forces was interesting because it used vehicles in deathmatch and it's still hard to believe this is the first Unreal Engine. It makes the game feel very very cosy with the amount of detail placed in the game.
The game is very comtemporaty. A bit of a dream of the time when they wanted to make a deathmatch game set in the modern day world when multiplayer shooters were beginning to be popular. I would say this was before Modern Warfare, maybe every reason why I don't usually catch on online matches of Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
Mobile Forces was created by Rage Software, a studio based in Liverpool and released in 2002. One of the great games they've created before they went out of business. The game is still around if anyone wants to get a copy of the game.
