Sorry for my bad English and all the faults that I can do.
Remember you can press "HD view", or "view original" next to the picture name to enlarge it ;)
This really does have some potential ;)
Keep it up !
We won't. At least not with what's coming in the next weeks !
To everyone seeing this. Something big is coming. It's only a matter of weeks.
Be patient, just a few more days ;)
It's not pointless, it looks awesome !
Ok I get the fact that it does nothing gameplay-wise, but I'm the kind of guy that plays against the AI, so I can spend quite some time at building a nice city ^^
If only it was possible to do so that buildings grants area of effect bonuses... those roads could increase the speed of units that walk on them !
Beautiful as always. I hope you will continue on giving all countries their very own sort of architectural aspect. This is really a major highlight of this mod ;p
I got a question tho : would it be technically possible (engine-wise) to allow the peasants to "terraform", like building road/pavement like in this pic ?
Maybe it could work like farms but without collision... ?
You know you're the only decent medieval RTS around here ?
Why are the medieval scene and the strategy genre being forgotten by the video games industry... it makes me sad. And AoE2 is getting old.
Can't wait to see it finished (fully textured)
Yeah I'm currently passing the baccalaureate so I do not have any time at the moment... But when it's over I will be free again !!!
And this is the undersuit right ?
Ah yeah, I forgot the head only fits about 2/3 of the helmet ! Then on the perspective you show it looks at the right place !
My bad :D
It looks cool but I actually find it strange that the body plates are more located on the belly than on the torso...
I think it's kind of a design flaw since it's more important to protect the breast (heart and lungs right under there)... Just wanted to point that out, I know you really pay attention and take care of your designs so...
Anyway it looks great !
Oh my... this is gorgeous !
What do you mean ?
No it's long range tactical radar-guided trebuchet projectiles with inertia control and gps targeting !!!
Gondor tech is da best.
Seriously though, it looks very good !
Thank you very much ! This looks damn cool ;)
Question (I believe this has been asked already so please forgive me) : is this fully working in co-op ? Are all the stuff and features you announce included in all co-op missions ?
Thank you for the answer :)
(edit : by the way, watching it right now, looks great)
Would be really cool btw. It's really a pain in the *** to see a suspect hidding behind a door or something and you can't just shoot right trhough it ^^
?? I never noticed such thing but if you say so ^^
eeeh, difficult to answer. Thing is, 2d art can be made really quickly as well as stats modding. We're only struggling at making 3d models, which take sooo much time to design, texture, animate, import ingame and get them working.
So let's say we have nearly 50% of the UI and 2d art (we're missing most of the units' upgrades and abilities pics but the rest is ok)
... 1% of the 3d art ? Considering how many things we want to make in this mod... We're short.
And because modding the numbers is a bit annoying with only placeholders, let's say we have next to nothing there (or at least, we have empty units, abilities and upgrades, waiting to be completed as soon as we have a proper way to display them)
Sorry for that is no funny answer :/
Sorry, I'm not sure to understand your question properly... If you speak in terms of game mechanics, unfortunately Company of Heroes does not simulate headshots, and nor can helmets be taken off the soldier's head by a well placed shot.
In terms of lore and plastoid protection, well you can find a few infos there : Starwars.wikia.com
Could you clarify in case in missed something please ?
I don't know exactly how many tris there are but it doesn't look far from vanilla head models. By the way we'll probably not use these heads and only import the different gear pieces
Yup, stormtroopers will be, as their name indicates, storm troopers, so way better trained than regular infantry. And we'll make them as they *should* have been in the movies xD
You can check planned army list there btw : Moddb.com
Glad you take it well :D
I wouldn't if I was you :/
Mod is not dead (members are still alive !) but we can say it's not progressing so far, as we all have important things to do that go before modding (exams for me)... Developpment will continue one day, I'm sure, as in parallel I learn how to realise 3d models and textures, but it's not for now.
So please do not get hyped too much and try not to build great hopes on this project, as I have absolutely no idea of when we'll be able to release something :)
(ceci est un lien, ça ne se voit pas trop)
Lol. Rigolo comme j'habite dans l'Ain xD
Really looking forward to see how it will look when complete !
