For the Portguese replace "s" sounds with "shhhhhh" like you got rabies ... "por dios" > "para Deushhhhhhhhhh". Add a French J sound between ia.

Maybe it's the new patch? I'm on Warband 1.158 and I've just installed the English patch on top of the French version and it works. If that doesn't work try changing languages from English to French on the start up menu. If all fails maybe It could be a unicode problem from some French text "ç".

I wonder if magnificent century/Muhteşem Yüzyıl is going to effect this game. I know it wasn't Taleworld who envisioned the diplomacy mod but with allot of projects trying to usurp the "first person ruler" idea it would be nice if Bannerlord built on this.
