Gearbox didn't make any Halo. Not one. The only "Halo" they made was a conversion. They converted the game to PC. They created 3 versions: Retail (a.k.a. "Full" or "PC"), Custom Edition (a.k.a. Halo CE), and Halo Trial. Bungie Made it for Macs originally. Microsoft apparently had more "monies" and buys Bungie's love. It is sold on Xbox, which Microsoft basically tells Gearbox to convert to PC. The game is sold for macs for a little while before Microsoft pulls the plug and makes it PC exclusively. Bungie's not the jerk- Microsoft is. Microsoft makes the poorly decided deadlines and platform compatibility decisions. They're the one's who have the Nazi-ish anti-modding attitude against the modding community, not Bungie.

make sure you have the original bloodgulch map files first.

Don't cuss- this mod isn't trash.

Adding those weapons would have required me to PMI them in. It may have made the mod not playable for others without the mod.

I wish I could add glass, but the banshee uses just one shader.

The tank and fire ghost are in the game. You have to get a gametype program to get it to work.

The galaxy in the background was an image I edited for a while- it was taken from a shot by NASA of the Andromeda galaxy.

It's a simple mod. I know that. Try to be constructive with your criticism instead of blatantly flaming my work- be it simple or high-quality.

Another trial mod... and yet you didn't authorize my other one because it was a trial mod. So, I guess I'll follow the same strategy everyone else follows to get their trial mod authorized- don't tell them it's for trial!

Why the heck was this authorized? this isn't even his mod! Also, he's not submitting it here. And third- it's already been submitted here by the original author!

Good HMT swapping, now I'd like to see some dependency swapping with HHT.

That's it? This should be classified as an addon. No models? No skins? What did you do besides swapping a biped's meta for a vehicle's?

You switched the pelican's class to scenery right? There's your problem. I have no idea how to deal with CE, but I'm sure if you worked on it in there, you might be able to solve that problem.

Why would anyone waste CE by making a simple mod for it? Yes this is for PC. I felt bad about doing the trial version, so I made one for PC and put a few nicer skins into it...hopefully my strategy worked.

Why don't you go out and spend $20? Did you know most of the mod requests have already been answered by the full version and CE? It's really cheap. Buy it and save us some grief.

However, Using "1337" HHT skills, I could switch the model, sounds, animation, and effect dependencies of the plasma rifle to the plasma pistol. I could then do the same effect for the secondary trigger, I believe... However, I could only do a "charged push" because of the way the plasma pistol works, but you'd get generally the same result

If you really want Halo PC, just save up for it, ask a friend to pitch in. Everyone on Halo found some way to get it, and trust me, you can too- how do I know?

If you know about Halo, then you've spent enough time on the internet for this to not be just a school pastime. That means you or your parents are rich enough to afford the luxury known as the internet. This also means you can afford Halo. Buy it and stop asking people to do something we all know is illegal.

Attention! CE has hardly any support, and Trial has none. There will never be another Halo Trial level, never another Halo Trial update, never another set of servers, I am sure. Now, stop harrassing the mappers and buy the game! It's cheap and it'll save our mappers the stress if you'd stop trying to ask them how to get it to work for trial.
