The link to my panoramic doesn't work because it's a direct link. Please link to the post itself or preferable the TAG (http://www.planetphillip.com/posts/tag/panoramic-image/),so readers can see all the maps and mods that have panoramic images.
It's a good tutorial, well done.
I stopped using .MOV panoramics a long time ago and switched to .SWF because I felt they were better for users. It's shame that there isn't a open source applciation that can take the screenshots and turn them into a SWF file.
I speak a little Spanish (badly) and a few words in Euskera.
The description and its similarity to my personal situation and the fact I was asked to voice him hasn't been lost on me.
For those that are interested, and why wouldn't you be, it's now available from my site:
Looks like this week.
You shouldn't post comments when you are stoned or drunk!
I'll voice act for you, just send some lines and I'll record them and you can see if they are what you want.
You just don't understand the question. It's asking whether you would prefer a team to use existing assets and just build maps or whether they should create new textures, models etc and have less maps.
That's really nicely put.
I am just about to add a new feature that will amke finding my and readers' recommendations really easy.
In the meantime you could try:
Leon's video card has blown and he can't do any more mapping until he gets a new one. I have started a "Help buy Leon a new Video Card" fund: Planetphillip.com
If you can spare some cash, that would be really appreciated - thanks.
The PlanetPhillip FileFront download link is working fine.
This mod is not available on Filecloud, never has been. There is a working FileFront link on my site.
I'll fix that tomorrow.
Slums 2 is now available exclusively from PlanetPhillip.com
Fantastic job, well done.
It's available from Planetphillip.com for those that don't want to wait for the ModDB mirrors.
FYI, there are some spelling errors and the installation instructions in the ReadMe are wrong.
But PlanetPhillip.com will also have the updated file!
This was just to see whether the idea was liked by the players and to see how easy it was to do. If we could have made more maps we would have done.
We wanted hundreds!
The project was more or less open source. The .vmf file for the Transition Room was available.
However, somebody would actually have the task of joining the segments together. I don't see a way for that to be automated.
There is now way to submit segments because this mod is no longer in development. Cube should have been clearer about that. He made the *were* bold but should have stated it explicitly.
I am open to suggestions regarding somebody taking over and becoming the leader but I need to be convinced that the person is both motivated and skilled to keep it running.
I'm sorry to hear you are no feeling well and I hope you improve soon.
This looks great. I'm available for English Voice Acting if you need somebody.
Oh, I can also offer at least 2 mirrors for the demo.
I've added this mod to my database and also provided another file mirror.
I've only just started it but it's nice to see soemthing new for Hlaf-Life 1!
I've added your mod to my website and provided you with another download mirror:
My readers generally provide valuable feedback for authors, so you many wish to subscribe to the comments.
