This seems to be a stolen map from a mapping challenge I ran called RunThinkShootLiveVille.
I do not believe you are the author of this map and have reported this file.
If you have permission from the real author, then you should include it in the download, but I do not believe you do.
Please remove this file.
Looking good! Great idea.
I've tweeted this: Twitter.com
For those that are intersted:
I have posted a ICE promo here: Youtube.com
Full Blind playthrough here: Youtu.be
That didn't happen to me, this file came directly from ModDB. DO you mean that once it downloaded and you tried to open it, it asked for a password?
As the author said in a reply to my comment above, they have fixed a bug and maybe that new file has password protection on it.
I understand your point about the previous day's 9-hour stream but in some ways being tired is a better test than being fresh.
The lesson in this specific case would be never to release something that hasn't been tested.
Anyway, good luck with the release.
You can view my full live-stream, blind playthrough here, with total honesty and final observation:
It also seems to include a room that you can get locked in.
When I saw the title of this post, I thought you had opened an online store selling items from the mod.
Please remove this download immediately. The maps from RunThinkShootlIve.com mapping challenge can not be made available from anywhere but the site itself.
This looks Interesting. I'll mention it in the next episode of What The Headcrab!
This is new to me, but here is how it works on ModDB. When somebody creates an article, it can be attached to mods that allow other posters to do that. Somebody in your mod, maybe you, allowed that to happen.
My videos covered many mods, so I attach my video to those mods. That means you get to see that I am promoting your work.
The down side, and I only just learnt this, is that those mods then have power to actually delete MY article, which doesn't seem right.
Your deletion of my video will mean I will have to change the way I do things. A good example of one person behaviouring badly causing issues for other people.
I still don't understand why you simply didn't contact me before taking action.
As duck354 says, have you watched the video?
Hi, I'm not sure what you are so angry about. I'll email you and we can try to have a friendly chat.
Just because I said I could make one of the images, they were too small and that one ceiling was boring?
Did you get my video taken down from here? If it was because of that, then that's really petty. As Duck354 says below, I'm promoting your work and giving you extra exposure.
Title should read "Smirking for RTSL".
Yes, you are right, what I said wasn't said with menace in my heart. I respect everybody who works hard on their creative choice.
But I do think there is too much colour in your work.
Are those barrels floating.
I HATE your lighting
OMG, I was thinking the same.
It is now available for download here: Runthinkshootlive.com
I made a Minute Mod video of this mod: Moddb.com
For those interested, I have started posting a week of exclusive images.
You can find them on the RTSL Facebook page: Facebook.com or the RTSL Tumblr page:
This made my Pick Of The Episode for What The Headcrab: Ep 006: Runthinkshootlive.com
In case you are interested, there are a few more stand alone BM maps.
See here for details: Runthinkshootlive.com
Busy. Never enough time to run the site or do the work properly. I need a holiday!
Just refresh the page and you will see it under the DOWNLOAD section.
Uncertainty Principle will be available from RunThinkShootLive.com either later today or early tomorrow morning.
I hope to be doing a live blind playthrough later today (Saturday) on the RTSL Twitch channel.
What will you do when one of you says the mod is finished and the other says it needs more work?
I'm hoping it will be knights and horses style fight to the death but if not, how about a chess match with HL-styled pieces?
In case anybody has trouble with the version here on ModDB, I have a Steam version for Half-Life on my site: Planetphillip.com
