Hey, Sorry i should have put more documentation with it. You want to use a RAR program such as WinRAR
( www.rarlabs.com ) and extract the archive to your Steam/steamapps/sourcemods directory.

Hey there, Yes on the forums theres a step by step guide and demonstration video here: Wii.hl2world.com
Sorry i didnt pack it into the installer. But if you are having problems launching the game there is a quick fix available as well

Thanks guys, Yep you aim at the monitor (where your sensor bar sits). Sent the testers beta 8 on wensday, so I've been pretty busy. You can see I moved the percent to 90, and set the release to this month. I am planning on making another video like i've said before, but by the end of the day I am exhausted from coding :), I will try though but public release is my number one concern.

:) just about to start up again today.

This is a mod for the PC version of half life 2 that uses a blue tooth adapter/dongle to connect to the wiimote.

There's video of what i have so far at either the media section on the site ( Wii.hl2world.com ) or my youtube profile ( Youtube.com ). The media off the site is in much better quality than the youtube versions. Though i will try and put a new video up soon. Next video will focus on customizing features of the wiimote interaction. It might be a bit more lengthy than other videos.

Not much more to report right now, i'm finalizing alot of the panels in the game and adding a few more features as far as UI. Crosshair customization is actualy turning out pretty good :).

Hey guys :)

Yea i was thinking that would work out good too for melee attacks :) its partialy why i coded the targeting. I'm still not sure if ill be adding pistol whips and everything, but we'll see. I would have to add in blend animations for each weapon really to make it look right, but that shouldnt really be too much time at any rate. I'll work on it more soon, currently im working on a crosshair customization panel and should be done by the end of the day.

As far as where you can buy a bluetooth dongle, you can get them just about anywhere that sells computer equipment and sometimes cellular phone accessories. Lots of online shops sell them too.

Thanks so much for all the support! It's great to see the community is excited about the wiimote dev as much as me :). Just since i've started this ModDB page I've been getting tons and tons of response to the project! I really have to thank ModDB for offering such a amazing platform to display mods to the community.

Thanks again everyone, and I am going to be working very hard on getting this thing out as soon as possible.

Also about the comments regarding melee attacks, I will look into it more and think about the best way to do it without loosing your aim.

Thanks again :)

Well currently weapons that use bullets or projectiles share the same config, but i could look into adding the option of configs per weapon. I am kind of scared of overwhelming the user hehe, but it could be a optional thing.

haha :) i actualy just got done tabbing stuff off today. Alot of the 0 / 1 options are just on or off. Its temporary right now, will just say on or off soon. It is intimedating though no less but i'll be packaging plenty of presets with the public release.

Hey guys :) Thanks again for all the comments! The official IR Sensor bar's cable is just for power. I belive the connector is specific to the Wii.
Youtube.com
That video is actualy a pretty cool setup. Though i dont suggest you do that unless you have electrical experiance.

It is just LEDs though, The actual thing that does the sensoring is the IR camera inside the wiimote.

Thanks for all the comments guys! Sorry if i make some mistakes, I'm still kind of getting used to ModDB.

nuclearbanana: You can get a bluetooth adapter online from about 10 to 20 dollars. A home made sensor bar from radio shack will cost you about 8 dollars i believe for 4 IR leds. The FAQ has more info on how to make a sensor bar.

Hey guys :) I'm shooting for release sometime this month.
I dont think you can find third party sensor bars in stores yet, but there is a few you can order off the internet.

Hav'nt had time for a new video yet, but still workin away at the code.
