...why?
If you didn't like ZM, you won't like ZM2.
Given that none of the official maps have that in them, it's not really something we're likely to cater for.
I made all the original official ZM maps. Does that count?
I take issue with this - I spent *ages* working on the soundscapes for the official maps to give them atmosphere. From the distant howling in Minerinconvenience, to the creaking of the wooden beams in the warehouse in Docks...
You do realise that two correctly-modelled weapons, based on a real-world gun are going to look the same, right?
Whereas if we implemented all your ideas, it'd be a huge success?
We used to have limited flashlights in ZM. We removed them because it wasn't much fun to have to fumble around in the dark when they ran out.
That's due to me telling Glenn about ZM2.
ZM2 is about as close to official as you're ever going to get. Tannerbondy has the blessing of the original developers, I'm one of them (and I'm remaking the official maps) and we're even going to be hosting the site in the same place.
"Zombie Master 2 is a multiplayer Source 2007 modification"
Ahem.
It is currently, although it could be brought into use.
It's Zombie Master, updated for the newer engine. It's not a re-imagining of the original concept or anything.
ZM2 is the closest you'll get to an official update.
If any experienced animators want to get in touch, they're more than welcome...
