Viking Invasion II

Mod review

The mod itself is very technically competent, if dated. What absolutely destroys the good 1st impression is absolutely awful balance, with AI straight up blatantly cheating while you struggle to maintain even a small army. This obviously requires absurd amounts of min-maxing and cheesing the AI. Whats the point of bringing life to viking age if youre railroaded into abusing the AI pathfinding and powerplay? The AI doesn't feel fair, and it doesn't feel fair to play against the AI. 4/10.

Rise of Three Kingdoms (RoTK)

Mod review

Perfect mod, the only beef I have with this mod is its UI design - more often than not I cannot distinguish between factions and units, either because faction symbols are chinese characters (very similiar to each other) or because some unit cards don't give enough visual information about the unit and neither does it's chinese names.

The Fourth Age: Total War

Mod review

The most polished out of RTW submods, it far surpasses vanilla game in depth, balance and visuals. The only complaint from my side would be stability problems - a rare occurence that nontheless can ruin a good run if you forgot to save your progress.
