Love video games. That is all.
Cool, thanks for the feedback. Sounds very good, think I will play with your mod from now on. Will also track and give a review once done. Glad to hear that you also don't like adding thousands of petty items to the game; as much as I appreciate Misery and other similar mods, to me STALKER has always been first a FPS and secondly a heavily atmospheric lite RPG simulation (this is how the developers intended the game); Misery and other similar mods wants to make it primarily a simulation game with hundreds of items and crafting/super survivalist **** that I don't really care about and secondly about the FPS aspects of it. Again, nothing inherently wrong with that approach, but it’s just not really for me, it becomes too tedious and boring.
So yeah, keep up the great work on the mod and thanks again for all the work you do on it.
Hi E.Nigma42. I am very interested in trying out your mod. I want a mod that is not quite as hectic and game changing as Misery; I want something that is closer to vanilla CoP, but with all the goodness such as bug fixes and aesthetic enhancements. Arsenal seems like exactly what I am looking for: Atmos3, AN3 and new weapons, but not ridiculously many new weapons (I don't like having thousands of different guns in the game...it makes the guns lose meaning, it becomes like Diablo item hunt then) and new armours.
So onto a question then: bug fixing. Does Arsenal include any bug fixes or unofficial patches? Or would you say that CoP vanilla is already bug free enough? If not, are there any mods that focus on just bug fixes/ai fixes, etc. that will work with Arsenal that you can recommend? Perhaps Pripyat Reborn (even though new versions was cancelled sadly :( )? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give me and also thank you for all the effort you put into this mod for the community.
Quite an intricate map; will definitely make for some interesting skirmishes, thanks for it.
Tracking you guys on here and UnrealSP; best wishes for the mod, I hope it goes all the way to release! It looks incredibly good thus far. Thanks for all the hard work you guys are putting into it.
Looks good to me. I like maps that have certain symmetries to them, but not perfect symmetry as that to me is boring. This is a good map, thank you. I also wonder why templar thinks top left is odd? I don't really see anything 'odd' about it?
Incredible work Sergeant! Who would have thought! Ragdoll physics in Doom haha; it is awesome and very impressive. Can't wait to see this with the rocket launcher or double-barrel shotgun! Thanks for all your (and anyone else involved) hard work on this, it is appreciated.
Very awesome update! Love the revisions (never cared much for the jump troopers and the marauder seems more useful, especially as an anti-vehicle unit) and the new unit voxels! Thank you for the update guys and keep up the great work. Can't wait to actually take all these units for a spin; I especially like how you made GDI and NOD even more unique by altering their respective harvester even more. Can't wait to see more of Globotech as well!
Thanks for the feedback and yeah, I am one of those really looking forward to your mod. It sounds (and looks) very promising. I love the story-hook and look forward to what you have to show us in the future. The new screens you released are very impressive. Thanks for all the effort thus far put into the mod and the fact that you are still continuing it.
Very impressive. Great work.
Just want to say a massive thank you to all involved in this mod. It is incredible. Being a CIV4 fanatic (CIV5 is OK, but not as good as 4), this mod just takes CIV4 to a completely new level. There is so much awesome in this mod, I don't even know where to start. So yeah, I will just again give my heartfelt thanks for developing this mod to all involved and also for the fact that you are still supporting and improving it. /salute
The augmentation changes are very good, I really enjoyed them. Good work Cyber.
Looks very cool; very intricate map!
Keep at it guys. Mod has great potential, but of course still needs quite a bit more work; perhaps scale back on the scope and size of maps and start refining. Will be tracking on here and UnrealSP.
Yeah...sadly this is dead...but you never know...maybe one day...
Tracking this here and on UnrealSP. Actually busy playing Xidia now and it is very good. Really looking forward to this! Thanks for all your efforts guys and know that you have fans here waiting for this awesome mod.
Looking good guys. I am tracking this now. Best of luck to you. If you need voice acting let me know.
Great to hear the project is not dead! It looks very promising; please keep us posted over at UnrealSP.org as well. We need more quality Single Player unreal mods and you guys seem quite capable of delivering. And of course: thank you for what you have done thus far, it is really appreciated.
Awesome mod, thank you for your work on this and I urge you to continue refining foxMOD. Just one question: I have quite a few of UT2004/UT99 classic maps (all DM, don't really play other modes much) that I play: will your AI improvements also work on these custom maps? The bots do work on these maps and have no trouble on them, but I just don't know if your AI tweaks will also apply. Any feedback is appreciated and thanks again for the very cool mod; I look forward to any new versions.
Some Scenario type single player missions (with scripting, specific goals, etc.) will be very welcome; thank you for this.
Wow, looks very cool. I am tracking you guys on UnrealSP; please keep us updated there as well. Very nice work and looking forward to the mod!
I agree, give your money to Dezowave, its they whom deserve it for LA, not GSC.
Thanks for the new updated version. Will give it a spin when I have some time.
Looks awesome. Thanks for the update.
I still don't really understand why GSC would call off the official support agreement they had with dezowave over the leak. GSC seems like a bunch of douches now to be honest. I mean why, over a leak? Are they worried of getting support calls from peeps with the leaked version? Is that really worth simply saying to dezowave "sorry suckers, no more agreement". Seems ******* lame to me. Can someone from dezowave explain this to me or does some NDA prevent them? I mean its not like the publisher of HL2 said "oh noes, a leak! no more deal Valve!".
Oh how I wish burgermeister would come back and update clan quest for latest unofficial patch and final camarilla edition. Clan Quest is such an awesome mod package! And if you ever read this burgermeister: thank you, really, thank you for all the effort you (and others involved) put into bring CQ to the community.
Just want to say that the mod looks incredible. I cannot wait! And also of course: a massive thank you to all involved for your hard work in bringing us all this new content for this amazing game. I will be tracking and spreading the word. And thank you again for bringing more content to one of my favourite games ever.
Awesome mod! Thank you so much for the hard work put into this and here is to hoping you guys continue! We need another awesome vampire the masquerade game or at least another game set in the world of darkness. This mod (and the upcoming antitribu) however is filling the void; awesome work guys and thanks again. I will track now and spread the word.
"Dump this trash in the canal"...LOL. Gotta love Deus Ex. Thanks for all the enhancements Cyber, GMDX is very cool for DX veterans.
Wonderful mod CyberP, thank you for the work you put into this, I truly appreciate it. Just one question: any chance you could collaborate with UnifiedDX guys to make the mods compatible? I know that Shifter probably won't fit into GMDX, but what I would love is being able to play through DX with GMDX and the new upgraded UI aspects of UnifiedDX. Just a thought; I have mentioned it to them as well. Thanks again for the great mod.
Firstly: thank you! UDX is awesome; I have been hoping for so long that someone would do something like this and here you guys are! So yeah, massive thank you. I am very happy that you will be improving on UDX in the months ahead, really look forward to it. I am also very stoked about your integration with Revision (cannot wait!). I understand that trying to get UDX to work with many of the older big mods will be very difficult, but please do try! One thing I want to request (humbly) though is whether it would be possible for you to correspond with CyberP of GMDX and try to make UDX compatible with GMDX, if not at the gameplay level then at least on the UI level (i.e. GMDX with improved UIs). This would be wonderful. And again: thank you so much for merging these incredible mods and bringing it to the community, we owe you a massive gratitude.
