Love video games. That is all.
Seriously: what the **** is it with some people here "DEMANDING" they release it now or yesterday. **** that. They can damn well release it whenever the **** they want; it’s their creation (NOT yours), we have no right to demand anything; they are giving this away for FREE; probably tens of thousands of man hours work for FREE. So seriously, just stop this demanding; it’s pathetic. It will be available when it’s available.
Oh and once you have downloaded it and played it, how about putting your money where you mouth is and donating to them so they can keep improving it and perhaps even get something for all their effort to entertain you?
Awesome hey! Massive difference, shows just how good the engine is.
Just actually discovered this as well via NMA. I will be tracking definitely. And, as time goes by, I will be happy to donate from time to time. Keep up the great work Hexxer and crew and thank you for what you have already done. Just remember: there are many out there like me: fanatical about the first three Fallouts (not a fan of anything after that) that don't even know about this project you are attempting so as time goes by the word will spread and more followers will come. So keep motivated man; there are many like me that would love this and will support you (either financially or via development), just need to get the word out more. Perhaps talk to NMA or some other fansites for more exposure.
Congratulations and thank you on the release guys! Will check it out soon!
Cool, thanks for the feedback. And great news about the release! Really looking forward to it, thank you.
Looking very good!
STALKERS are out of hand here! Control yourselves with the comments! Soon we crash ModDBs comment system.
Yeah, launch those torrents! It will help ModDB as well.
So go commercial. I, in any case, will donate to you guys. I have no trouble supporting the efforts of dedicated modders like you guys enhancing my favourite game of all time. If you guys can somehow pull off adding some of the missing content (like a restoration), I would happily support you financially by buying the mod. Though, as I said, I will be donating anyway if the option becomes available. It will be very cool if you could all pull together (the modders from Shifter, BioMod, HDTP, Unified, etc.) and merge your projects into a ‘megamod’ like the ‘definitive edition’ of Deus Ex, then do a restoration of content that was planned, but cut from the final game. If voice acting is a problem, I am sure one can work something out; ideally get the original voice actors or some professionals that can mimic their voices or perhaps use some advanced voice editing software to try to recreate these. I know that is a long shot…but hey, a man can dream can’t he?
Hi there tsf00181. This mod of yours seems very cool; it seems like the 'total package' updated for 2014. I usually play CS with Complete, but it is old now and doesn't have all the latest versions of the mods it compiles. So I will be tracking your mod with eager anticipation, please keep at it! Just one question though: I see that Atmosphere3 is not listed in the features list. I assume this was just an oversight and that the mod will be integrated into CS2014? Atmosphere 3 is a must have mod in my opinion. And finally, thank you for all the effort you have put into merging all these mods for a wonderful updated total package for CS.
Hmm, I see there is an update for Lost Alpha (on my updates page), but when going there it is still awaiting ModDB authorization. C'mon ModDB, DO IT! Authorize this bad boy! Perhaps ModDB are toying with all the fans laughing manically at their power! Either way, hopefully it won't be too long now.
Ive seen Vintar on MyGaming. Fellow Saffer here salutes you man! You must be proud to be part of this gaming history! Can't wait fo LA.
I hope ModDB's servers are prepared for the onslaught!
Looking awesome, as always. Take the time you need guys. I am also very interested in this 'offer that is too good to pass up'...hmm what could it be. And as always, a massive thank you for this awesome enhancement of pretty much the best video game ever made.
Fully agree on the Dance of the Thrashing Dragon...incredible quest, dialogue, incredible voice acting, incredible lore...just incredible.
I don't want them to rush it. It'll be done when it's done. All we, the fans, can do is say thanks and cheer them on to the finish line. Won't be long now. Even if the guys don't make the 12 May release date...no worries, we have waited so long a few days, weeks or even a month or two won't make a big difference. So excited for this. My most anticipated gaming release this year.
Cool, thanks for the feedback. Sounds very good, think I will play with your mod from now on. Will also track and give a review once done. Glad to hear that you also don't like adding thousands of petty items to the game; as much as I appreciate Misery and other similar mods, to me STALKER has always been first a FPS and secondly a heavily atmospheric lite RPG simulation (this is how the developers intended the game); Misery and other similar mods wants to make it primarily a simulation game with hundreds of items and crafting/super survivalist **** that I don't really care about and secondly about the FPS aspects of it. Again, nothing inherently wrong with that approach, but it’s just not really for me, it becomes too tedious and boring.
So yeah, keep up the great work on the mod and thanks again for all the work you do on it.
Hi E.Nigma42. I am very interested in trying out your mod. I want a mod that is not quite as hectic and game changing as Misery; I want something that is closer to vanilla CoP, but with all the goodness such as bug fixes and aesthetic enhancements. Arsenal seems like exactly what I am looking for: Atmos3, AN3 and new weapons, but not ridiculously many new weapons (I don't like having thousands of different guns in the game...it makes the guns lose meaning, it becomes like Diablo item hunt then) and new armours.
So onto a question then: bug fixing. Does Arsenal include any bug fixes or unofficial patches? Or would you say that CoP vanilla is already bug free enough? If not, are there any mods that focus on just bug fixes/ai fixes, etc. that will work with Arsenal that you can recommend? Perhaps Pripyat Reborn (even though new versions was cancelled sadly :( )? Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give me and also thank you for all the effort you put into this mod for the community.
Quite an intricate map; will definitely make for some interesting skirmishes, thanks for it.
Tracking you guys on here and UnrealSP; best wishes for the mod, I hope it goes all the way to release! It looks incredibly good thus far. Thanks for all the hard work you guys are putting into it.
Looks good to me. I like maps that have certain symmetries to them, but not perfect symmetry as that to me is boring. This is a good map, thank you. I also wonder why templar thinks top left is odd? I don't really see anything 'odd' about it?
Incredible work Sergeant! Who would have thought! Ragdoll physics in Doom haha; it is awesome and very impressive. Can't wait to see this with the rocket launcher or double-barrel shotgun! Thanks for all your (and anyone else involved) hard work on this, it is appreciated.
Very awesome update! Love the revisions (never cared much for the jump troopers and the marauder seems more useful, especially as an anti-vehicle unit) and the new unit voxels! Thank you for the update guys and keep up the great work. Can't wait to actually take all these units for a spin; I especially like how you made GDI and NOD even more unique by altering their respective harvester even more. Can't wait to see more of Globotech as well!
Thanks for the feedback and yeah, I am one of those really looking forward to your mod. It sounds (and looks) very promising. I love the story-hook and look forward to what you have to show us in the future. The new screens you released are very impressive. Thanks for all the effort thus far put into the mod and the fact that you are still continuing it.
Very impressive. Great work.
Just want to say a massive thank you to all involved in this mod. It is incredible. Being a CIV4 fanatic (CIV5 is OK, but not as good as 4), this mod just takes CIV4 to a completely new level. There is so much awesome in this mod, I don't even know where to start. So yeah, I will just again give my heartfelt thanks for developing this mod to all involved and also for the fact that you are still supporting and improving it. /salute
The augmentation changes are very good, I really enjoyed them. Good work Cyber.
Looks very cool; very intricate map!
