Čest a věčná sláva Republice Československé!

It's already included =)
Mosin have as good sights as Mauser if not better.
Definitely Mosin sights are not worse than any other open sights.
I personally prefer Mosin sights.
Both are accurate and shooter makes the difference. Mosin is simplier, but has bad disadvantage that you can close the bolt even with no bullets in magazine and in the chamber, so you have to count bullets.
How many countries were bombed by Warsaw pact?
NATO killed thousands of civilians.
I like it :)
You're welcome ;).
I "like" Serbia "very much". Look properly :).
This mod contains B2F visuals.. but if you want for example only weapon stats, open my IWD file with winrar and copy only "weapons" folder to your main folder.
Long live Syria and victory to Bashar Al-Assad from Czech Republic.
I know these are considered as battle rifles, but it's mostly ignored. SCAR-H for example is for most of people an assault rifle. Also En.wikipedia.org
Like here for example. Avtomat fedorova is sometimes considered to be assault rifle.
We still have many guns today that are considered as assault rifles and they use 7.62x51 round, which is bigger round then 6.5 arisaka round.
Also Fedorov was inspiration for AVS-36, AVS-36 for SVT-40, SVT-40 for G-43 and G-43 for Stg-44.
Avtomat Fedorova really do have MANY aspects of an assault rifle.
Vasili Zaitsev definitely exists there is even video of his funeral. Surkov is mysterious person and it is possible that HE was created by soviet propaganda. It's hard to say though. I believe he did exist, but don't say it's definitely true. But about Zaitsev I am sure by 100% he did exist.
You're right, but there were also another versions of Mosin Nagant developed during WW2 like Finnish M39 (much more accurate then common Mosin, but heavier), Russian M38 carbine (light and agile) and M44 carbine with folding bayonet.
Oh by the way:
Just imagine how many of these snipers had Mosins... yes some Soviet snipers used SVT-40, but only few and it was not as successful as sniper rifle. So I would say that nearly every Red Star in this list can be counted as Mosin Nagant.
AK-74m with folded stock.
By the way these visual differences are only between original Russian AKs. There are many other AKs like Egyptian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Serbian, German and so on. So if you see AK that doesn't fit to my AK or AKM description it's most likely not Russian AK.
This is for example Romanian WASR that doesn't fit to AK description and doesn't fit to AKM description either.
FN is whole arsenal. Do you mean any specific weapon?
If you mean FN FAL (that's probably most widely known product of FN) I know few things:
Reliable gun although it has one reliability disadvantage: it doesn't like sand. Israel noticed that when they fought against Egypt that their FN FALs were jamming. It doesn't changed it's reputation though - it's accurate, powerful and reliable. British army had FN FALs as their main rifle until L85 came. In my opinion FN FAL is much better rifle though (I dislike L85 because of many things, but that would be whole another article :D).
British designation of FN FAL is L1A1, but unlike original FN FAL, L1A1 is only single shot.
FN FAL is battle rifle - which means it is fully automatic rifle using full sized rifle round (7.62x51 NATO).
Sadly most of modern countries (Belgium, UK, Austria, Canada) that were using it replaced it, because it's too old. To be honest I don't think it's good idea to completely replace this gun and definitely not by 5.56x45 cartridge rifles because they have completely different use and character. High caliber rifles SHOULD be used too if army is using smaller caliber weapons like Steyr AUG, M16 and so on.
I saw some modernizations of FN FAL and it looked like awesome rifle. Look at this:
FN FAL has mechanism in the stock like M16:
If I understand it right it should be springs connected to the bolt and it should reduce recoil. FN FAL is using gas system if SVT-40.
That's probably all I know about this rifle and I have to say it's in my top 5 assault/battle rifles ;).
These differences are only visual!
There are technical differences like:
- Slightly slower rate of fire of AKM (hardly noticable)
- AKM is lighter (about 1 kilogram less)
- Different trigger system
I can try.
It's AKM, but with AK-74 gas tube K-var.com
My favorite dog :).
What's why i love this dog :P.
