I have become less surprised with their choices recently. Especially after they made Bariss Ofee a corrupted Jedi who bombs the temple, tries to frame Ahsoka and kills a defenseless woman in prison but Chee is not Lucas studios and he has a very specific job to do. Make new material fit with old material with as few retcons as possible. Unfortunately The studio decided the series would take place over several years instead of their original several month timelime. Since Anakin is a knight during the whole show that means the natural conclusion must be Anakin is knighted early in the war. The studio show cases this passing of years many times in the later seasons such as Ahsoka having a older appearance along with the cadets on Mandalore now being adults in season five. The studio is at fault for that not Chee. If he moves The prosecutor mission all the way to 22BBY he needs to be FIRED because RC currently does not need any retcon because nothing conflicts.

I agree in a sense because that was accepted belief before TCW's and I believe Maul being born on Iridonia may have even been published in at least one novel. However I don't think Ventress' species was ever officially published, only assumed because she is found on that planet.

Okay. So you are assuming he means to condense the whole thing. Thats what I thought and that is what I have been saying, I assume you are wrong and reading too much in to what he said. I believe his statement means anything that directly conflicts will be condensed. (Ex. Any battles in which Anakin is a Padawan) It would make absolutely NO sense to condense anything that does not conflict. The mission to deveron could have been 350 days in to the war or 400 days in to the war or 389 days. Their is no reason that should even conflict with the Prosecutor mission. His statement does state that MANY events will be condensed. that does not mean ALL events.

This is not meant as an arguement point but I think you are making an assumption based on a worst case scenario that I am confident will not happen. I think we can agree on that

why are the missions not displayed on the new graph. My point was they still happen on the dates stated in the above graph. Their is no reason for then to not be?

An indestructible tank. The only reason it was created was to make the stakes of their attack on the foundry that much more dire. If they failed to destroy the foundry than the republic may lose the war because of this new Super weapon. Overall I think the whole concept is lame but that's my opinion. Others may disagree

Now the last thing that bothers me. Why is it you claim wookiepedia as not reliable. Why are you with your limited supply of star wars literature more reliable than the hundreds of contributors who write and edit articles and continously double check each others work for accuracy. Basically you are saying you and your few sources are more reliabel than an entire community of people like you and me.
You do realize that your literature is only written for the time frame it was written and even these guides have probably contradicted previous works as the events in EU are constantly being changed.
Straight from Wookiepedia here is inconsistencies list for The new essential guide to characters
"Due to the fact that this guide was published before Revenge of the Sith was released, it features several inconsistencies about certain characters and events, such as the transformation of Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader."
Note a first edition to this guide predated it, published in 1995. Since Episode 1 was not written until years after, the clone wars was thought to be an event that happened years before palpatine became emperor and long before he wipes out the jedi.

I am not saying your sources are bogus or anything but it must be stressed that wookiepedia brings these sources and a thousand others in to a massive database that is constantly double checked by contributors as passionate about star wars and canon as we are. To ignore this fact and claim it as a secondary source does not make sense. This does not replace the accomplishment of having personally read all of the sources we can but WE WILL NEVER be able to read all of these sources and compile them accurately including retcons without a database like wookiepedia.

Enlighten me as to how any of the Republic Commando novels will conflict with the show?
As for the rest, that is only about a dozen of the hundreds that exist. I feel it is misleading to represent so much literature with a description that implies most will not fit when in fact most have no conflict.

I would also put Ahsoka on the Pros and cons list.
She is a good new character which has helped bring more girls to star wars but her place as Anakins apprentice is controversial considering Anakin's unpredictable personality.
The Jedi Council is known to push new knights in to taking an apprentice soon after knighthood so I personally don't feel its a huge stretch but it being controversial with some fans leaves it on the con list.
The show killing off most of the new characters they created and making Ahsoka leave the order before the show ended is another pro for me because they closed lose ends

RC being compressed is inaccurate. The novel and comic part is inaccurate because many do not need to be retconned since they do not interfere with the show. Only those that conflict have to be retconned. And of course the part about Everything being compressed is an assumption and most likely inaccurate.

me criticizing the show for throwing another comic out. That's right and I have done it other times too.
I have liked ever clone wars era book, game, show and comic I have seen so far but you have a 100 plus people on this site and to me that means you have a responsibility to give accurate information to fellow fans and when you pass off your assumptions as fact you are doing loyal fans an injustice if they have an interest of knowing when things happened.
Is it stupid to condense the things that they are in to a 2-4 month period. No its stupid as hell but the bright side should be acknowledge too. Hundreds of novels, comics and games will be unaffected because they don't conflict with TCW's new timeline including all the republic commando novels and the game.

And truth be told I did start to make a more accurate graph to correct yours last night. But after starting it I realized I had work to do on the mod and that would just take a lot of time I shouldn't be spending on such endeavors. And before that I started to make a timeline for Regor's group because I thought it would be a cool information piece for fans to know when things happened and also to show other battles they may not know happened because they have not read other clone wars sources but again it was too time consuming

ALL EU is an ever expanding universe. Their have been hundreds of retcons in the past couple decades and this will continue for as long as star wars is popular. You are fighting the very nature of star wars and this only proves how much you misunderstand what star wars is.
If GL wanted star wars history as absolute as you try to make it then the levels of canon would not exist. Their would not be retcons, their would not be a keeper of the holocron and their would be no EU for you to get all whinny about. I don't like a lot of things the clone wars has done and I like a lot of things they have done. I don't like it starting so early in the war and making Anakin a knight so soon but I also don't like misinformation or lies about what is being done. We must see the good contribution as well as the bad.

You should really stop with the previously established canon line. That is how star wars and EU work and have worked since A New Hope. 2004 to 2008 was not the original story of the clone wars and it will not be the final story.

For those who may be wondering. Infantry glows certain colors when they are on either advantage or damage ground. You can see this most on volcanic planets when you troops glow red and lose life but green is good ground for infantry. Gives a health bonus.

The point is they ARE NOT SQUISHING ALL PREVIOUS clone wars novelization in to the short time frame. Republic Commando WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. ANY Dark Horse comic not having to do with Anakin as a padawan will be unaffected. Books like Jedi Trial and Labyrinth of Evil will be unaffected. That is why you chart is inaccurate.

What this means is YES some events will be condensed (ex: The 2004 microseries episodes that are before Anakin is knighted) This in NO WAY relates to material that is not contradicted.
