Wow what a... strange disappointment. Strange because so many seem to like it and I can't find anything to like in here.

Such an ugly and boring game, total turn off.
Got great modding potential gotta check some out to spice it up a lot.

This game consists way too much of: Starting a game, plant a few trees, leave the game personally while it runs, come back to it after some min and tell your massive force to conquer everything. Only a few levels with scripted attacks where this does not work.

AI is not clever enough to attack when it should, mostly passive, too bad this makes a game with great potential boring. On some levels it does not attack at all and I am not about the beginner levels.

Gameplay of a fantastic genre is dumbed down and simplified to the point where you can easily multitask your housework and your wife and children at the same time while playing this.

The design is awesome, probably the best about this game. Its pretty sad that its actually the genre itself that keeps me and probably most others entertained, the game itself is rather poor.

Too bad it sure got potential. Some more challenging more engaging AI and it would really help. There are a few levels where its really a lot of fun playing when the enemy does stress you. The level design is great, many levels all with somewhat different approaches on how to master.

I dunno why but I did enjoy reading the intro of every level, its not like having a story but I think I grew tight to my seedlings because of the design.

Music is nice too, calm and cozy, just as the game is calm and cozy. It fits and aids to the atmosphere.

The few special units such as flowers and that 4 laser thingy are nice, I didn't care much about the specs of my seedlings in terms of Strength Speed and Hitpoints and was still able to master it.

I like the game, at times a lot, then sometimes its just boring unchallenging and a waste of time when the AI just waits. I would really wish for a Speedup Button because in the phases where you just wait for your army to grow the player sits in front of his monitor inactively.

The Demo is very good, gives a good intro and sight into the game, you know what to expect from the full version afterwards.

I had no idea what awaited me, then I got overwhelmed by brilliance and genius of a sneaky bastard. A mind twisting blowing experience I can encourage everyone to risk of experiencing.

I like the voice... a lot. ehm.

Endgeil! Wow that was a hell of a campaign, to the WRECKAGE team I'd say Mission Accomplished!

The maps were great, I didn't get lost, the environments are beautiful, the triggers create action all around the place.

The gameplay is fluid, and really enjoyable. Theres also a lot happening on the field, unlike crisis where you are the action in WRECKAGE the game delivers you action all around the place, stuff exploding teammates fighting **** raining down from the sky, I could just sit there and watch the action play its fantastic.

The difficulty is well done, you are still a powerful force on the field but the enemy is a great threat and you will have to play tactical to get through. Also the really fast walking is a great thing, makes no sense but its awesome being so fast.

The Music is really nice to listen to, the voice acting while it does sound amateurish is very well done, lip sync and believable. It sounds like a mod and its good. The dialogue really stands out, when you are in the later parts where you go alone in that harbor hearing the (I didn't get who I am or what I am doing) player talking about the Snipers being pussies. Or the Marine motivating his troops, its really well done and stands out more than the ordinary stereotype BS.

Now why did I not rate it a 10? The mod suffers from replay value, it is a campaign mod so I have to be generous towards its replay value but you play WRECKAGE once, then another time, if you're a diehard fan a third time but then you wont touch it for as long as you wouldn't touch your favorite movie.

There are also still some minor problems, some visual errors and moments where there should be sound but there wasn't. Also the second helicrash was one big clusterfuck of error. Massive screen tearing, clipping, objects vanishing. These errors are however few and they don't harm the game experience much at all.

WRECKAGE is definitely worth the time, suggest for everyone who enjoys Shooters. Wished it never ends.

spend 3 hours in this after download witch doesn't occur often. that really speaks for the game. hey + for replayabillity. + for the visuals, they are pleasing to look at yet simple. + for race and map customization. + for gameplay and mechanics, really entertaining game. - for having seen everything after 10min (hence the name).

how about some more units? like capital ships, carriers warships torpedo bombers heroes etc. if you make them selectable before the game you would get a simple game like you have now and an enhanced one too.

jeez me likes this game a lot, gonna give it a 10 for blowing my expectation by far and being pure gold.

- Story:
- You don't talk at all.
- You come out of the arch not knowing anything and do stuff for people because of?
- Idiotic health medpacks recharge and continue
- Open end for a game that will not see a sequel?
- Characters, thank god we can skip the dialogue, the character design was rather good and made them interesting but you barely speak with them and when they do its all stupid and simple and not believable.
- Worlds emptyness
- **** textures although it uses the glorified MEGA TEXTURES (25gb)
- No action as in barely any events, no scripted scenes and barely any memorable moment.
- uninteresting and dull
- no MP shooting only MP with the car
- No settings in options all automatic
- Whoever wrote dialogue and story was not worth his money and is mentally demised, kick him out and give me the job I do better for less!
- poor ending, no boss no speech no nothing.
- Music I don't remember it so it wasn't too good but also not too bad.
+ Awesome gun fights, enemies take cover and retreat and push forward, close combat enemies jump around from obstacles and dodge you.
+ Good looking world if the textures wouldn't be crap, modelers and mappers did a great job.
+ Card game
+ Car races and combat
+/- Weapons some great ones and some barely useful ones. electro bolt electrifies enemies in water, only once that occasion occurs.

Avoid until its very cheap and even then its not really worth your time. Works best with Nvidia cards others had difficulties with the drivers that may be fixed now but I dunno.

Overall unsatisfying it really hurts seeing what it could be and what it sadly is. The few good aspects can't make up for it, you will have some fun and will be amazed by its look but most of the time its boring and sickening and awful to look at. Probably the biggest gaming disappointment for me in 2011.

A big - for having so many "fans" who are too mentally dicktarded to see all the fails which are so obvious yet claim the game to be very good and gorgeous.

Much improved since Fallout 3 which I didn't like much. Now why can't it be less buggy?

Really well done, the world is interesting same with the characters. Guns are also good, look bad but I don't mind it much, and the leveling is fun. The graphics are great especially the textures look sharp, a lot sharper and better than rage and mw3.

Now how to enable that nude patch again hmm...

ALL HAIL THE LEGION! seriously they rock.

A free game of very good quality and fun. Also wolf3d with strafing! One of the few shooters in WW I. No install no dosbox no register, just download unzip and start playing even on Win7 and Dreamcast, amazing.

Very good looking and diverse, don't forget we talk about a wolf3d mod so this is especially nice. It got its charm.

I get lost all the time, just like in Wolf3d, I happen to curse it for not having a map but then remember thats how it always was and probably supposed to be.

I dunno if its a game limitation but a bit more than 4 weapons would have been nice. That said the ones we do have are really nice and I like that I can reload.

The sound fits, could be a bit more diverse, maybe some artillery sound in the background but overall I am pleased by the sound.

Maps are very well done with lots of love put into them while making. tents, artillery sites, trenches, woods, I shot a guard on the toilet. There's even more I haven't explored yet.

Some nice moments like the sani asking not to be shot. Needless to say I did shoot him.

The comic cutscenes, gotta love that.

Some kind of Multiplayer would be great but again I don't know if that is possible at all. Some LAN deathmatch over hamachi or something.

To not rate this game a 10/10 would be... I dunno just rate it a damn 10!

Edit* There is also a survival mode! Uber Awesome! This I miss in most todays FPS and this one got it! Superb!
