No, that's Captain America (and his sidekick, Bucky), who are Marvel superheroes dating from WWII. But it's in the same vein.

Description

Most of the South Vietnam army infantry are defensive in nature, garrisons for the cities on the look out to prevent a reoccurence of the Tet Offensive. Those troops that actually venture out into the jungle to hunt Charlie on his own turf are a considerably different sort; they are Rangers, the special forces of the ARVN.

Rangers face a difficult task. They are not as numerous as the NVA, or as familiar with the surroundings as the Vietcong. Instead, they rely on squad tactics to isolate Vietcong fighters and cut them down. Their automatic MX-15 clatters through clip after clip of suppressive fire, keeping their enemies heads down as they close. Once in close quaters, they unlease their secret weapon; the "Masterkey" underslung shotgun. Originally designed to blow open heavy doors, it was adapted into a brutal jungle fighting tool by the Rangers, who use it to even the odds when Charlie gets too close.
