Something's been bugging me about your building designs.
As you may know, in APB the old Refinery was easy to C4 and guard because you could use Tanya to camp the elevator and shoot anyone who came up, pretty much resulting in a building kill every time.
If Tanya C4's the Tesla Coil MCT, what's to stop her from camping the ladder?
Same with the Gap Generator, if a unit with C4 plants it, all they have to do is camp the ladder until it goes off, giving the defenders a disadvantage.
Any ideas there?

It'll be possible to fly a kirov yeah, but there's not going to be a cockpit view, since it'll make the bombs hard to aim.
Hey no worries. I was talking to Assassin the other day about this and he was keen to finish it and release it, but it might be a while before it sees the light of day. The team has pretty much left the mod in an unfinished state and there's not enough people free at the moment to push it over the finish line.
We got conscripted to work on Reborn. So literally nothing to show.
Nope. The game is really not ready for open beta. There are still no character models and most of the allied buildings don't have their final interiors.
It will include Yuri's Revenge units, yes. Yuri's Army is not currently planned.
Currently we don't have a Mac version. We're focusing on building the game before we port it.
There will be a Mac version that'll need to be tested nearer release however, so we'll call for a few Mac testers then. :)
I think it's doing alright. AR is doing great!
I totally agree. This game may not be the prettiest flower around, but it's really fun to play and that's what we're mainly focusing on.
AR and it's other sister projects are all standalone! There's no need for any other games for you to be able to run it.

Yeah, you don't need Renegade to play. It is it's own game.

TSR's end goal has changed significantly from when it used to be just CnC Reborn. The development team are changing a lot of how the game works to make it more like a true Tiberian Sun FPS and less like a re-skinned Renegade clone. The build that has been posted does not represent the development team's final vision for this game.
Blackwolf has let the entire w3d community down by leaking/threatening to leak and we do not wish to be associated with his un-approved releasing of our game.
The driver will man the front weapon, and then 4 passengers will mount the side guns. That means that the vehicle requires 5 players to operate at full capacity.
The vehicle will get significant bonuses when it is fully manned, making it an attractive option for assaulting the enemy.
It's also the only vehicle in the game that can crush other vehicles and walls, so it's good even if there isn't 5 people manning it.

We're planning on some RTS style mechanics for when it comes to rebuilding structures, but proper base building would be extremely hard to implement on this engine, so we are focusing on making a variation of the Renegade style gameplay that will hopefully prove to be fast, frantic and above all, fun.
We feel that Renegade's C&C game mode is unappreciated in these modern times, so we're aiming to push the game-mode forward a little to make it a fun for players to experience in today's gaming climate.
It would be fairly tricky to get all of Yuri's units behaving correctly in the FPS perspective, but it could be done.
The problem is that because this project is run by volunteers, we don't have enough people helping out to make all of the assets. We're taking ages just to get Allies and Soviets implemented let alone Yuri.
It could be a slight possibility for the future if we continue to grow and recruit a lot more talented artists, but for now we're focusing on Allies and Soviets.

A lot of the development time has been wasted due to the game changing teams fairly regularly. Now that the game is with Bluehell Productions, we're doing the best we can to make sure we get the C&C Reborn we've all been waiting for.
A lot of drama and controversy has surrounded this project over the years and I think we can begin to thankfully say that it may finally be over.
