I like the older style games like Jagged Alliance 2, fallout 1 & 2, Dungeon Keeper, Final Fantasy 7 - 10 and the like. The only worth while games out today are Mass Effect 1 & 2 and GTA4 imo :\

I am also having a problem with the mod, I have windows 7 32bit and my specs more than meet the requirements to run the game, yet when I get into the game under "enhanced full dynamic lighting DX10" and even the DX9 version and when I click on load game or even start new game it loads all the way and then just doesn't do anything and when I alt tab out of the game it says the xray engine has crashed..anyone got any ideas? Or need more information?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if any of this is vauge.

Kakra, I understand your point about that although it could just be the boys inside firing out of the chinook, and besides it's more to look cool than anything practical :)

I still find all these links very very confusing. People ask for download links and we get links to Bear's pit forums with about 100 different links on them. I just wish there was 1 single page for 1 single download link that was kept up to date, but it seems all the wiki links are out dated, as well as many threads. I was shown a link a while ago to the apparent latest version of 1.13, which turned out to be 2 versions late, and its a bit frustrating (which obviously isn't your fault or anything just saying..) Anyway with that little rant over, I'd like to thank you Wil473 for your hard work into this undying classic game, very much appreciated :)

You are so full of ****, I hope you have more than a few people smiling at you when you die of cancer you prick. Get a life and show respect for people that serve in Nato side armed forces you little maggot I know people in the territorial army that would eat you for breakfast for saying **** like that. Also come up with better **** than how an SVD has ever been put into an 50.cal BMG which is a western high calibur round, as aposed to the 12.7 russian round so in other words it would never happen, you show me a FACT website where you can back up your claims or **** off and get a life :)

So umm...yes you are bad at your job also I have a friend that use to be in the royal marines who has actually FIRED this sniper rifle in a training exercise in Germany. Also you must be REALLY bad at your job not to know that one of the most popular and well known gun manufacturers has created this, one of the (if not then THE most) accurate semi-automatic sniper rifles ever made.

I disagree with this, a sequal would not do it any justice at all, the only thing that could make it better is maybe a better more interactive engine and graphics game play, story and characters stay the same and you've got a best seller for 2011!

Great to hear from you again Chris, glad to see the project is coming along well, and long may it continue. I have to say the UI and especially the soldier layout interface is really good, and the geoglobe looks slick and clean making it easy to read information. Would love to see a small part (probably early game) of the research screen and maybe a video of going into the different screens such as soldier load out, research and traveling to a crashed UFO site and then seeing a splash loading screen and then troop placement to see how things will flow in game. Best of luck mate really excited about this.

Don't think the PDW would be taken into a conflict zone where the most common ammo is 7.62 5.56 and 5.45 as it uses special 6x35MM ammo. I would think it's more likely they would use the H&K 416 or a similar weapon that can use common ammo.

Is that the pistol holster on the left? its a little hard to tell, plus I know some combat jackets have a holster on the front of their chest (where the flag is) a thicker skin would be nice but thats still pretty cool

Its a good idea but lets not forget who we're fighting, it might be a bit of a balance issue if we get to control these things as if they were units, although I suppose you could of set that by making terry taliban a decent shot with the RPG (that and any anti-aircraft weapon the alied teams drop)
