I've run into a few glitches as far as my lightsabers are concerned.
In the Jedi Trials on Yavin, I started the mission with my left saber in hand, but my right saber in the cage later. It looks weird because I went through the whole mission with my right hand reaching out for my other saber.
Also, my left hand saber disappeared after the bartender scene on Nar Shadaa, leaving me only with my right hand saber.
Could you guys please adjust the difficulty of the HK-47 mission near the end of the game? The difficulty level is absolutely ridiculous. HK-47 vs. a large number of HK-50's that take forever to kill and do enormous amounts of damage is not fun. The dialogue is great, but it feels like grinding because of the ridiculous difficulty level.
At the end I was forced to just run through the level because I didn't have the repair kits or 2 or more hours of time to pass through a level that should've taken a half-hour at the most.
Yea, Attack of the Clones is the most boring movie in the entire saga. John Williams always composes top-notch music though.
I love this mod, I really do. But it is wayyyyy too hard, it really needs some difficulty balancing.
In addtion, the saberblock add-on doesn't do anything, I still can't block.
I'm wishing my computer could run Crysis right now, lol
Anyone wanna play this mod on ICO? The community is such **** these days I'll do anything to play a damn game, even a mod is better then not playing at all...
The lack of people to play with? XD
I added y'all, but I haven't seen you online, :(
Seriously? No one wants to play? :(
Is there no one that has Trinity that wants to play? (Especially considering that there is NO REBELLION VERSION out yet)...
Sorry, I can't afford it at the moment. Besides, there is no Rebellion version out yet, :P
Hey everyone, I'm looking for someone to play this online with. I have Sins Trinity with this installed. This is a great game, but it's no fun to play with the AI, :)
I would just like to point out that in the description, you call the P-90 an assault rifle when in fact the FN P-90 is a lightweight submachine gun. It uses copper-jacketed teflon-coated rounds in the show if that's relevant.
Anyways, this looks amazing. Please make sure to pay attention to detail!
Also, it would be cool if the Carter Special was a weapon (I didn't watch the entire video, so forgive me if it already is).
Your an idiot, the art style is one of the best things about this game. It's a bit easy, but that's because it's meant to be experienced instead of played like the other Prince games. This is probably one of the most beautiful art styles I've ever seen in a video game. The combat had a great foundation, but if it had been improved about would've been better. So, yea, I actually loved this series reboot.
This is an excellent mod and I want some more music like what you did with that Revelation cutscene. Wow, was that MUCH better then the original.
Sorry bro, I think it's dead, T.T
As far as I'm aware, the current Goa'uld faction within the game is just a preview and a lot of work still needs to be done with them. They aren't a full civilization yet, and that's just the groundwork as far as I'm aware.
I think I read it in the readme or something.
Okay, if you say so. If you ever change your mind, I'll be online waiting.
btw, it's the weekend. I stay up till 3 or so in the morning EST and get up at like 10 or 11 EST.
Thanks for agreeing with me! I thought I made some fair points, ^^
By the way do you play this online? Because I really need some online partners to play this with on Ironclad Online...
I've only managed to get a single game going so far.
Are you sure you have all of the modification files in your folder?
If they are, some of them may be damaged. Try copying it into your mod folder again, or downloading it again.
I'm glad you appreciated the criticism.
I understand what your saying, your creative vision differs from that of the original game. Now that I get that, I am willing to make concessions. I'm going to keep playing the mod and try to give you more constructive criticism, mostly because I am a huge critic, lol
If you need someone to tell you what's wrong something, look no farther. I also just like to know that my opinions are being taken into account. I was glad to help improve something that I know we all love, and I hope that my criticism helps you make a better mod for everyone.
Now I just want Rebellion to come out! Titan Ships look ROCKING! :D
Oh, one last thing I forgot to mention.
More on the research window problem is that the original frame pictures are to black and the models in the picture to dark to see. A black on black background is not a good idea, and it's one of the reasons the research screen is so hard to understand. One of the first things you should start cleaning up is the pictures. Toss the black background and make a more colorful one so that we can tell what were looking at. That way we know what we want to research BEFORE we click the picture.
One other thing you can do to clean up the interface is to make all of the capitals available from the beginning, like in the base game. Then, you have to balance them all against each other and make them different in what they're specialized for. Again I urge you to take a look at the base game and try to stick closer to your source material. It's just the best way to go.
Fifth is that all of the units are far to powerful, their attacks cut through hull strength and shields like their butter. The game was designed to be slower then that, so you really need to substantially touch down their damage. The game was designed so that you could get the depth and strategy of a turn based strategy game, while having the space combat and realism of a real time strategy game. You should try identifying with the original game more, take a look at the variables from the base game so you can try and make more balanced damage, health, and shields on ships. I saw that you tried to fix the problem by substantially increasing health on ships and other things (I mean they are seriously high), but that isn't a good fix, because the damage is about 5 times more serious then the health increase.
Sixth is that some of the units still act like fighters. I downloaded the original BC-304 minimod and I distinctly remember that you guys were going to fix some of the ships acting like fighters. You need to make changes, Capital Ships need to be slower but more powerful then smaller ships. Yet the Destiny Class (one of those that acts like a fighter) is far far faster then the weaker ships accompanying it. Also, because it acts like a fighter, it'll pull away after making an attack run, and may let the other ship escape from the gravity well.
Seventh is that a lot of the ships are TO small. I understand why there small, but this is ridiculously so. Especially in the human civ, you need to zoom ridiculously close to be able to see your ships. They should be small, but this is to small. If you want to maintain this scale factor, then at least try making everything a bit bigger.
There are a lot of problems with this mod, that's for sure. But it has a lot of potential, and other then a few glaring issues, it's a great one. It just needs a lot of work before it can truly live up to it's potential. I hope you appreciated my feedback, :)
Okay, I've been playing this mod for a while now and I want to give you a little feedback.
The biggest problem I have with this mod is the research window. There are about 2 times more research in this mod then in the original game, which is cool, but my problem is that because of this research window is extremely cluttered. It's hard to find my way around it because there are TO many options for research, you need to find a way to cut down on the amount of stuff in that window to more like the original game. Otherwise, it's just like a wall of pictures that are far to hard to understand. It needs to be more fluid, like the original game.
A second problem is that a lot of the original voices are still there, I wouldn't have a problem with this but it breaks immersion when voices say "Insufficient Metal" instead of "Insufficient Trinium", or "Entering Phasespace" instead of "Entering Hyperspace". This should be fixed in future versions.
A third thing that I noticed is that the Stargates and Supergates that replace wormholes don't even look like they're on. If your going to make a static version of the Stargate/Supergate then it needs to look like the Stargate is open.
A fourth is that units enter hyperspace like WILD fast, units in the original game had a phasespace entrance delay for a reason. I think that there should be research that let's them hyperspace that fast, but they shouldn't be able to enter hyperspace in half a second flat straight from the beginning.
Hey, does anyone want to play this mod online with me? I'm hosting a room on Ironclad Online, but no one else seems to have this. Please play with me, :)
nvrm, forgot to click "Apply Changes", LOL
Hi, I'm running Sins Trinity 1.34 and I can't seem to get the mod working... (I DLed Diplomacy 1.34 version, and 1.34A Patch)
I enable it through the mod window and nothing happens. The game is still the same as before I enabled the mod...
I'm on Windows 7 64 bit btw.
Before I download this I would like to ask whether I can exclude certain changes. I would like a few, but not all of them. Especially since health falls much faster in 2 then 1. So, reducing my health regen by 100 times... Yeah, not gonna happen, lol.
I finally tryed out the Kaedeshi in the mod last night. It was great and all, but I noticed that most of the smaller Kaedeshi ships are really weak compared to Higaran and Vaygr. My fighters were almost instantly wiped out. I also noticed that in the last research of Kaedesh or whatever, it increases your attack power but sucks out your armor. Is that intended?
Anyways, the models are still absolutely breathtakingly awesome. Keep up the good work! Just work on the balancing a little, and this will get even better, :).
