I'm a game programmer trying to get into the industry. I'm working on several projects at any given time. I play and review mods all the time because I love to see user made content.
It looks great I just wish there was more contrast with the backgrounds. Great job! :D If I owned an Xbox/console, I would give it a try.
He said that, however he was referring to flash. Steve jobs himself has demonstrated a Monotouch game during the iPhone 4 launch. Also all Unity games have been constantly accepted onto the iPhone marketplace without problems.
Looks great, I just have one or two minor suggestions. Don't let other planes move the players camera, and add more interpolation turning so it isn't so jerky and looks much smoother. I'm talking about when you move and seem to let go of the movement keys and level out the movement isn't as smooth as it could be.
Good luck!
Huh? That doesn't mean it's primarily designed for resistance. Why would the commander need extra non-sense that the commander can't send units to, and the resistance can't go to? By keeping the map to what is actually playable (with I'm sure some parts of a skybox or some outer area details) the commander can focus on what's important and not what he thinks the resistance can use. Also it's only in alpha.
Me and my friends are very excited about this, we can't wait to play it Monday. I hope they allow us to preload because some of my friends have poor connections.
LOL I love the idea of this game. I can sense incoming rage while playing and thats just fantastic. The music fits perfectly with this trailer.
Uh, this is really freakin cool.
I definitely wanted to comment on this, as I have to commend you on taking something commonly well known and adding an interesting spin to it. That's always very cool to see in game development.
Looks good, I've always wanted to build a game that was something like this, I think a persistent world combined with this type of gameplay would really make for some amazing game situations.
This is easily some of the most high quality work I've seen done with the Unreal engine. And obviously Epic agrees with you because you won the MSU contest.
Good luck.
OH **** OH **** OH ****, this was one of the best mods ever created. Extremely polished and fun. I hope you take your experience and make something even more amazing the second time around.
Don't compromise yourselves for the sake of a few people who don't understand, but I trust you to make good decisions. Decadence was a truly inspirational mod to developers like me.
Don't you just love these awesome ninja mods that appear out of nowhere? It's really the ideal way to make games.
Heh I know my friend is entering the contest, good luck to him.
Ohhh yeeeah
Nice thumbnails, I can't squint that hard though...
This is really great work, congratulations on your release. I'll absolutely be picking this up.
Spend some time polishing your menus, the general idea of the game seems fun and challenging. Considering the idea of the game seems to be about lights, have it fade out when you select menu items. You have a lot of polish to go but I think in the end it looks like you've got a good start.
I agree, ModDB needs to revamp the comment system. Comments are currently a second hand citizen when they should not be. Comments now a day are transforming from comments to conversations and I wish there was some way to track comments as well as replies to comments.
It's a shame you can't share resources and code with the PSP version since they are separate engines but I figure the two are extremely similar (although the PSP one is miles better obviously)
Have you never tried to record a video in game on your computer before? ;)
That looks so beautiful.
Rock, paper scissors, ONOS!
Looking good :D
This looks super good.
I hope so, they deserve all the money they can get. I would like to buy it on steam.
I'm glad to see you decided to post on ModDB. I find the game very interesting, especially the fact that it seems to draw in so many people in fact I would consider it a recent fad. Everyone seems to be talking about Minecraft. Goodluck.
This is an awesome post, but there is a bug with the post, the images aren't linked to their high res sources.
This looks good but why cant we see those pictures in high res?
nvm they didnt link them
Why are you suggest changes to the jetpack when the jetpack worked perfectly fine in the first NS? Your just overly complicating it for the sake of complicating it because you want more features. Stop suggesting things, thanks.
