@ Varsity: The screenshots were taken in-game, the draw distance is up to the mapper and how they use the fog (it can be extended back quite far).
Great mod though, hopefully ironed out some of nuisances of the first release.

Wow, we really haven't expected the overwhelming support from this last media update. Thank you guys, your words are incredibly encouraging.
Just wanted to lend some support, as I think this mod deserves. I don't have UT2K4 so I can't actually play it, but what I can see through screenshots, videos etc is alot of work was put into this game and it wasn't wasted. Great job guys. :)
1. Select eleptical marquee tool.
2. Set "Feather" to about 40px (more for a more faded effect).
3. Fill selection with white.

I think they will both be great in their own respects but we'll have to wait until we can play them (both) before you can make any comments like that. It's great that FF is still there though, in spite of this "competition" from Valve. I applaud you. :)

I am not sure on how soldiers held their weapons in WW2, but this would have been fairly scrutinised already by people on our team who have held and fired this weapon (as well as a few others) so I'm sure it's ok. :)

Check the forums for more info, but basically we have realistically minimised damage over range, bullet drop and realistic damage (for the calibre of the bullet), including wound effects synonymous with the calibre, eg you won't be hit by a .30 cal and keeping walking. At best, you will be knocked to the floor.
Well seeing as I'm developing one, and I don't consider it a waste of time, along with all the other people we have working on this, don't you think we may, just may, have a unique idea for this mod?
Trust me, it won't be like anything you've played before. If it is, we will have failed. Don't dismiss it just because it's about WW2.

We will have stamina, but it won't be a visible bar. You will have to tell how tired you are from other factors (breathing etc).
Hey fellas, we are revamping and reorganising our profile, thinks are gonna get a little fresh around here. :)
Consider it an early "eyes focusing" effect, sure it's not very realistic, but it restricts your peripheral (the major effect you'd want) and helps you to aim (the other gameplay effect you want). We may ditch it later (although probably still have a very slight zoom) and overlay a nice bluriness to the edges of the screen.
