@StygSoft, you of course are correct. I've been running a PSI only guy with maxed biology and while it is sometimes dicey I am able to afford or make enough boosters. Though the mindshrooms I've come across are usually heavily guarded (or across a lake?) so I swear I end up using the same amount of PSI as I would gain from the mindshrooms.
I personally don't like the idea of the Shroomhead feat, seems gamey to me and is a time waster I'd say. For eg. Oh wait, I'm out of PSI, guess I better go run to my patch.. No I think I'll pass on that. I want to play the game not endlessly backtrack.
Have you thought about adding a feat to reduce PSI costs or allow PSI to be gotten from a way other than boosters (like stealing from a PSI enabled foe?). I did see that there was a nifty one that reduces the cost of fire if you use a cold one and vice versa, but I got that and I never have enough action points to use both skills. It'd be cool if that lasted one extra turn to be honest, though that might break it...

I love Sci-Fi of all kinds and am also a big Fantasy genre fan. Mods and Indie games are awesome and these days I'm really digging the games small studios come out with.
