Hey, don't come down on the guy. I feel the same way. It's about time the original was laid to rest, what with 2 having been out for something like half a decade now.
Wow, awesome that you guys put out a Standalone version; I never did buy Crysis Wars.
Looks pretty good! If the bots are trying to hold the enemy while their carrier makes a run for it, will one or two bots also follow a group of players flanking them to get straight to the carrier, or will they just stay where they are until all aggressing players are dead?
Why? It's the only way the game was going to get made. They approached several studios, none of which wanted to make it the way it should be.
"Such changes included a better cockpit, more armor, an increased bomb-load, a more powerful engine, and a rear-facing MG 81Z for protection..."
...and cheetah print paintjob for maximum party-rockin'.
So... are the physics optimized yet?
Man, does this look good.
This game is janky as hell and I love it.
Good to see this mod's still going. Any estimates on a beta release date?
Next stop: Skyrim mod.
Thanks! A group of friends and I were playing last night and didn't know as much; we fixed the error by deleting everything in our Steam folders except steamapps, friends, and Steam.exe. This is much more eloquent.
My God, I am glad this mod is still active.
I would be so happy to see a revival of this mod. Between this and Fistful of Frags, I do me a lot of Sourcemod gaming.
This looks super neat. Following, and waiting for that demo.
The Team Meat guys don't really care about being professional in interviews. Read their interview on Giant Bomb for an example.
And you'd be surprised how many game devs don't understand the things he said. Just look at the first Assassin's Creed, with its five-minute-long unskippable talking/cutscenes before every level. Horrible.
New game menu content is neat, and so is balancing; I'd like to see more core content roll out soon!
This is pretty cool. Saved; thank you good sir!
With the Skyrim Creation Kit out, is there any plan to port this over? It would be a lot of work, but you'd reach a much larger audience.
edit: oops, just read the whole "port to Skyrim" thing. Good work, guys! :D
This is so cool! It looks like King of Swing. The one thing I would change is the camera: make it lazier so it isn't constantly jumping all over.
Perhaps a crushed or sliced smini should be visible for a second? It does not by any means have to be brutal, but having the character model simply disappear immediately and the ghost model slowly appear and disappear is a bit odd to watch.
Just a question about the trailer: why are you playing a PC shooter with a controller? And if you're not, why are you moving your mouse that way?
Also, this looks pretty cool. Any plans for multiplayer?
More people need to read this. I love you guys.
I love how detailed everything is in this game. It really shows a huge amount of care that you guys put into this. I'm excited for the release.
Brilliant! I love this idea, I hope to see these Slender Men in the next update.
Fight back. You'll win.
Selling their loot for gold and cash? "Cash," like, "real money?"
Thanks Korea, but I'd rather just play my game without having to pay for items.
Hammerfight is a lot of fun if you enjoy that Eastern European "it feels like luck, but it's actually all skill" weirdness. When I first played the game I was so bad at it, but after a few hours it became one of the craziest, most addictive games I've ever played.
If we have the 3.6 beta installed, will this update work? Is it even needed?
Hehe, "WELLHUNG". Good secret code.
Still, with the amount of publicity that's whirling around the game, the Mechwarrior copyright holders may actually approach the dev team.
I agree; the people who are saying "this game is boring" are the people who make it boring: the ones who don't try to co-ordinate with their teammate. The ones without mics. The ones who consider themselves good enough to win on their own.
I agree, however knowing that the developers feel the same way I do about the infantry combat is definitely comforting.
I would like to see a list of servers friends are playing on, and an option to instantly join one.
Wow, very nice! The rock walls may need a slight tune-up, they're clearly patterned, but other than that, it looks really good!
17$ if you pre-order, 20$ if not.
Gasp! New things? I am so excited.
I love how much this mod has evolved from a simple tweak of numbers to a fully-fledged, graphically-different mod.
I urge you not to make a fangame, especially not something based off of Gears of War. Something original would be much better.
I've emailed him, but it's been a few days... I don't think he's going to reply. I'm sorry. However, would it be that difficult to specify that all undefined weapons get an X-percent boost to damage, and a such-and-such demerit to this and that?
Finally, a mapping-for-dummies tutorial. Thanks to the author. :)
Hey, just one request: in V5, could you add a general formula for weapons from other mods? Suddenly, the Desert Eagle mod I got is a lot less potent than the simple 10mm pistol.
Actually, none of the unlockable weapons are much better than the standards. I've unlocked them all, the the only ones I use are the heavy's sandvich and gloves, the medic's ubersaw and the scout's new bat. I prefer the standards for all the other weapons.
Looks pretty good; the trees on the left are too bright, though. They stick out.
Are you going to stick with the Fallout models? I think a few home-made models would be pretty cool. Or, alternatively, you could steal some from falloutnexus' mods. There are some pretty cool weapons there that aren't as recognizable as the fallout weapons.
It's "bulimic" not "bulemic".
Awesome! I can't wait to play this mod. The original was so awesome.
Looks a lot like the island level from the original Myst. Pretty cool.
I would so buy this one.
