I got hl2 ep2 today and it worked for me. I think you may need both half life 2 and hl2 ep2 to play it. And I think a few other mods need both games as well. It's should be more specific on exactly what games are required.

Do I need HL2: Episode 2?

I can't run the game. Every time I try to open it I get an Engine Error pop up that says

"unable to load surface prop file 'scripts/surfaceproperties_ep2.txt' (referenced by manifest file 'scripts/surfaceproperties_manifest.txt')"

Anyone have a fix for me?
