Not a whole lot of people, which is our main concern at the moment. We're working on helping new players ease into the learning curve, which should make it easier for new players to keep up with experienced players. We've got a lot more than that planned, too. We're expecting to be ready with a new patch in a few months.

I recall someone from the staff calling the game "pretty much done". I don't remember who it was, though, but that's what's been imprinted on me - quite traumatic :) I'll edit the blog, I don't want to put words into your mouth. Or however that saying goes in English.

I don't think our player shortage is due to lack of eye candy. Our analysis puts the blame on the very steep learning curve, which our tutorial should smoothe out.

No, we're aware of the major issue of the steep learning curve, and are currently working on an in-game tutorial. We hope this will smooth the learning curve and reduce the number of frustrated quits.

In the mean time, I strongly recommend Skull Squads tutorial videos, in particular mr. Waffles' tutorial(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZGBplCdZWY)

Your goal is, as you've stated yourself, to get ppl playing it. Making it fileplanet exclusive, however, is not helpful in reaching that goal.

If this works as intended, Fileplanet will cash in a great deal of revenue from sponsors etc. due to the increased traffic. If all they've offered the Orion team in return is to host their mod (unlikely), then Fileplanet is going to laugh all the way down to the bank.

I don't think we'll be porting to any other engines soon. It requires a lot of manpower, that we don't currently have, and time that we'd rather be spending on improving the game.
Single player? We'll see what'll turn up :)
