This could work for some sort of energy weapon. Cool idea.
Parts don't upgrade exactly, but you can basically make all possible modifications to your vehicle during a match if you can afford it. You can repair parts as well as add and remove them.
Oh yeah, that could work. Although the "shadow" would have to be on top of the scrap view.
Good idea. I like this because although it adds some complexity for the user, it does it in a fairly intuitive way.
Untextured fill bars are simpler because then the bar can be easily scaled to whatever size without stretching the textures. That's the main reason.

Oops, thanks, fixed.
Thanks for responding. I don't think I can help unfortunately. The closest I can test with is a Logitech MX518 on Windows 7, which works fine, and I can't find any record of anyone else having that problem (with Skylight or other games). :/
It should be working. I think the way Desura works is the full version kind of overwrites the demo. You should be able to go to your play screen and right-click on Skylight, and there's some sort of option to upgrade I think. But I'm pretty new to Desura myself. Tell me if you really can't get the full version and I'll try to sort something out.
Dev here. Do you mean looking around with the mouse isn't working, it's just spinning around uncontrollably? That doesn't sound good if so, but I haven't encountered that before. Mind sharing your operating system and maybe what mouse you're using? And I'll see if I can do anything.
Dev here. That's totally valid feedback. Skylight is a pretty simple game, but that's why I kept the price very low. It's certainly not easy to complete though - in terms of play time I think it's pretty good. And the idea is kind of that you don't have complex mechanics, you foat along and generate interesting music, and try not to fall.
