I'm currently enrolled in a 3D Animation class, dealing with texturing, modeling, rigging, animation, rendering, lighting, scene settings and some coding. I will all so be learning about adding CGI to movies and compositing with Adobe After Effects. Programs I'm using are Maya, Photoshop, and After Effects.

yes your write it is a fictional world and that it is a video game. As for the compact design I don't think that it really matters because the shotgun extends out when in use so... yeah

I actually had to google what you were talking about. That electronically initiated superposed load weapons system is mostly used in weapons like grenade launchers. (There was one shotgun listed but it is a prototype) The ammunition is loaded into the barrel and is very similar to roman candles. Except you choose when to discharge the rounds.
To me and from the video it appears to be a pump action shotgun, and as I said above it is a fictional game. I would just like the weapon to have a grounds on reality.

Hey Blaze, Sorry for not replying earlier. What I meant by texture was zbrush textures, by adding more detail to models in zbrush. As I recall they seemed a little smooth, No prominent details like scales or anything. Some times I get things mixed; do to working with the unreal engine and zbrush terms. When applying alphas in zbrush the term I use is adding texture to the model. And in unreal a texture is actually called a material, which is applied to the model in the editor. So I have my terms mixed up. Half-life 2 has horrible bump mapping so I hope your guys normal maps look decent. Sorry for the confusion.

I like the fact that your supporting the mod community. It seems these days developers are shafting the PC community. Were alot of these developers started on the PC (aka InfinityWard/ and I just recently heard that the new AVP/Rebellion will be going the same route as InfinityWard with no dedicated servers but thats just a rumor.) They think they know what us PC consumers need.

When developers like you, show us that you need us and are willing to go as far as purchase community maps and support us. You have my purchase. Continue the great work! and show us more developer videos!

Why? in techincal terms, Cryegine3 is a downgraded version of Cryegine2. What has mostly been done is that its been optimized and downgraded to run on the consoles. Yes it has new features, but you can't deny that graphics have gone down to low/medium settings for the console. I will admit that they haven't shown anything for the PC yet. But if you can run the Crysis now on medium settings. You will be able to play this with medium or maybe even high settings. Will just have to wait and see.

When I purchased my 2500 dollar computer two years ago, I was able to play it on the very highest settings. With todays technology I'm pretty dam sure you can play Crysis on 900 dollar PC at the highest settings. As my computer parts are pretty much priced at 900 to maybe 1200 now. So there is really no reason for people to say that now.

No that's not what I meant, people have NO appreciation for how hard modders work for FREE! and they blast them for not being as goods as commercial games. Yes they're mods out there that rival commercial games and some even become commercial games.

That's what I don't get. Modders make free new games for existing games, and people expect the same quality as the games it self. People complain that the quality is low and the net code is horrible. I believe its because of the "next-generation console" ****. Console games have come to a quality in graphics almost as good as the PC, and people expect mods to match that quality.

If you manage to release you'll get a HUGE thumbs up in my books. I went to school for 3D animation and know how long and hard it is do. People have no appreciation for free things and for modders. It's easier for people to be rash then nice.
