You should find that critical hits like headshots and heartshot are more deadly than before. In terms of less action you will find that fewer but deadlier foes roam the areas which results in fewer but more varied gunfights/action. Also the ambience/background soundscape is reduced in terms of number of distant gunshots and deathcries. I found the vanilla sound atmosphere to be too much of a constant battle/action-zone. I really like the contrast of calm situations and action sequences in this mod. Overall I think that the vanilla areas were too heavily populated which degrated your feeling of being in a very dangerous and excluded zone

Well thanks! So far everything related to sleepiness seems right but I will look into it even deeper. For now you should be able to keep sleepiness at bay if you rest for like only 1 or 2 hours when it kicks in. Remember that food no longer restores health but only satifies your hunger and enhances your need for rest.

Game time speed can be changed using F1 and F2 in the main menu.
Safespots don't welcome people who are pointing with their weaponry.
Holster your guns when entering/leaving

Did you drink alot of energy drinks? Did you try and sleep in short intervals? Both would disrupt the chances of getting back to sleep for a while

I haven't experienced that situation before but it sounds like I need to inspect the scripts of a very triggerhappy NPC out there. If you are up to it I would be happy to know your pros and cons of the two mods when you're done with this

Your questions is very relevant and I will edit the features list for this - Atmosfear 2.1 is integrated with the only exceptions of the Atmosfear: Blowouts and Fallout. I just personally think that the weather system becomes a bit 'too violent too often', if the two were added. There is no way to enable them as of now, however I strongly consider to add Atmosfear: Blowouts to the next version of the mod..

Others comment on boars being too tough. I will take a second look on these matters of mutant health.
A general look on the comments on this mod profile seems to paint a picture of a quite stable and strong mod concept.

I will note your suggestion but to prolong the need for rest you should travel with light gear only, drink alot of clean water or energy drinks and eat only when needed. Wound treatment and especially alcohol enhances your need for sleep.

The claiming of territories already exists in a sense. But the animals and mutants are restless and tend to constantly wander to seek food (like worms and dead birds) which are found in the outside of their lairs. They also seem to accept that the inside of buildings are dangerous places as stalkers prefer these places for rest and recreation.
