TO GAME COMPANIES: First of all - thank you for your work and contribution to the world of gaming. As mentioned before: You are the Easter Bunny. We (the modders) are simply painting the eggs. But we are actively engaged in projects of serious game improvements. Mind that we are doing this in our spare time for zero ecomic benefit. I strongly encourage you to consider staff candidates from the Stalker modding scene. This is likely to be one of the best places for you to find motivation and dedication for a professional development environment. Several active modders are well capable of taking part in an actual and professional game development process. And if you choose not to I wish you the best in development and hope that at least some inspiration was found here. Thank you N.Aaroe The modding community

Sound design is one of our most cherished areas. Whatever you hear will be specially fine-tuned to fit the atmosphere and the story. In addition, the procedural/generative sound engine allows us to achieve remarkable things. Rain, wind and ambient effects are not just long audio samples, but constitute a dynamic, original combination of sounds perfectly synched with what is happening on the screen: wind blows harder, floating pieces of garbage move faster, sound becomes more vivid, a storm rages in background, the screen flashes. The possibilities are almost infinite.

MDT are well aware that the final product will only benefit if the Backers participate actively in the development process. You can be sure that we’ll share our thoughts and ideas along the way and are very open to your input, suggestions and criticism. The higher Backer tier you choose the more informed you will be about the development process of the game.

While we are trying to figure out while ModDB will not allow us to upload any new files...
- - - - - - -

Please compile your MISERY 2.1 mod by:
Downloading and installing MISERY 2.1 (Part 1/2, base): Moddb.com
Downloading and installing MISERY 2.1 (Part 2/2, update): Moddb.com

We are working on an even more convenient way for the mod hosting.

For 18 hours we have been trying to establish workarounds for this unfortunate situation.
It appears that the upload interface of ModDB prevents us from uploading files to the site.

Thank you for you patience and understanding.

The website host shut it down due to traffic overload. This is out of our hands unfortunately.
But now we have both the UPDATE and the FULL version being uploaded here at least.
And both of them fit within the max file size limit.

I just wonder why the uploads are sooo slow because we have a potent bandwidth here

The Mac is doing a local upload of the UPDATE version
while the PC is doing a local upload of the FULL version.
Both of them here to ModDB.

I wish ModDB could put a progression meter on the uploads as we have no clue about the progression in this type of upload.

A local upload is underway.
Today the MOdDB seems very heavy and slow.
Maybe we are not the only ones trying to publish stuff here.

miserymod.com website data distribution got shut down temporarily by hosts because of traffic overload.
This is something that we just can't ignore, unfortunately.
But the data is being uploaded elsewhere (including here on ModDB)

thanks for the patience guys.

The traffic at our own servers are slowing down the process for delivering the data to ModDB.
We have now commenced a separate local upload to ModDB for the UPDATE version.
Thanks for all the positive karma here on this site. It means a lot to us!

it appears that it did so. But we are here all day to manage stuff.
The UPDATE version is about to be uploaded here on ModDB (now at 60%)
The Full version will require a site admin to allow such file size.
