In options there is a selection for doing the ritual in 1 3 or 5 minutes. The places that each item spawns is pretty much standard and the ritual is conducted exactly as the myth says. When you spawn in the living room in front of table there are pieces of papers with what you need to do.

Well I haven't been around for a while in IndieDB and just when i come to see what's going on I see this! I have already finished the story mode and now searching all the chests in exploring :3. This game is becoming more awesome by the day. I was getting keen to it since the very first time I saw it but I got to say this caught me by surprise, since it's way better than I expected it to be. The only thing that I see as a con is that sometimes, the combat system is kind of difficult, what i mean is, I often lose my mouse after aiming and then wanting to melee. But maybe it's one of those games that you need the gamepad to play :). Oh well, 10/10 can't wait for full release!

Hello There! Make sure you extract from the compressed file both the executable and the 'The Midnight Game - Windows_Data' folder :)
Otherwise if you try to play the game without that folder you will get that error you have

Are you using any extraction program? Like Winrar or Winzip? That's what you need to open and extract ALL the files to your folder of preference.

Actually I loved them from three games : Zelda, Tomb Rider, and might seem odd but, Assassin's Creed IV.
