I am fun, loving and like long walks on the bea...wait wrong website, I am co-founder of Nightman Games, I was born and raised in Scotland, and have a passion for gaming. I have clocked more than 1000 hours on Oblivion (console & windows), maybe around 500 on Fallout 3 and 250 on New vegas. Most of that time is in mods more than the actual games, I play several MMO's including but not limited to Rift, SWG, WoW (Yeah I dont like to admit that one), WAR and soon TOR. I am a one man mod dev team which I guess is why my main mod hasnt been released yet. I and my partner are working on a new 2D Pixel Art game currently called Steam Worlds, even after it is released I will be working hard on refining it then adding more to it. I really dont know what else to put here so bye!

I've already tested that, the player died 3 minutes after the game started. Actual playing ability wasn't compromised until the last 10 seconds.

You certainly know how to make up for a delay! Can't wait to see what people come up with for this, the inevitable is of course a huge shopping center but let's hope some more imaginative people take advantage of the tools.

That engine was terrible and so was the game, I generally like games from Paradox but that one was like it was in a box for 10 years after they developed it before releasing it. This game on the other hand already looks and feels better than A Game of Dwarves.

Good to hear that RC3 is still being worked on, still had hope of course, I myself update my mod about as often as PZ updates so I know better than most that a long time between updates doesn't mean you've given up :)

I hate myself already for asking this but...do you have a rough release date? Just curious if you are close to releasing or if you have a few months or longer before a release, been checking every day haha.

Already have all the references I need, magazines are an outdated format in my mind, and almost impossible for me to use to get decent looking textures even with a good scanner. But yeah I have made a decent amount of progress on the console room since that render, the only thing I need to do now is wait to see the further in rooms which will apparently be in some upcoming episodes.

I'll have the console room in-game before then of course, I am dying for a new player home to use as none of the ones I have tried lately work for me.

I haven't used magic launcher yet, yeah Multi-Minecraft lets you have 'instances' of minecraft, which basically means it has installs in different folders which never interact with each other. You can set the version to any one back to a certain point, think it was one of the early beta versions, all the way up to the latest snapshots. It's also pretty easy to install mods with, but that's down to personal preference more than anything.

Forgot to say what's in the town, it has 8 small homes, a bunk house, a large field of wheat, a farmhouse and a church built into the cliff. There is also a small dock I might expand on with a couple of houses.

I use Multi-Minecraft to test out the newest snapshot, keeps the last stable version safe and totally separate. But yeah as long as they don't remove anything for 1.5 which is in the snapshot it should still work fine.

Very nice, can't wait to see the next npc. Although shouldn't you finish the player character first? Last I looked you couldn't see them while creating them, and customization doesn't actually do anything yet. I'm not telling you what to do of course, just saying that finishing what you currently have should be priority over adding new things shouldn't it?

If you are going to get into terminology then you shouldn't be using dry-dock and wet-dock, as neither make sense in space being that there is no water. Although as far as I know there is no space version of the terminology...you could use air-dock and space-dock? air-dock being inside as they wouldn't need to worry about venting any air while repairing, space-dock being outside, in space.

I was wondering, is the lighting/line of sight going to be updated to be more smooth later in development? I know project zomboid went from quite blocky lighting to smooth, so I am just curious if you plan on doing that? I'm not complaining of course, just think it would look nicer, either way still very much an awesome game, it actually has me going back through my game library playing Fallout 1 & 2.

If you mean Alt + Tab as 'switching windows' then that happens with a lot of games which are full on commercial games too, see it less often as I used to but it still happens. Generally some unexplainable reason because you know...windows is fussy.
